He immediately covered his trap back so that another beast can be able to fall inside. He left to get other powerful beasts that night and eventually got the nine strongest beasts that he wanted. The first one was the bull with rhino horns, the second was a half elephant half hippopotamus, the third was a half lion half grey falcon which is mainly known as a Griffin, the fourth was a half vampire bat half inland taipan, the fifth was a half panther half eagle, the sixth was a half monkey half scorpion, the seventh was an half blue ring octopus half fox, the eighth was a half grizzle bear half tiger, the ninth one was a half kangaroo half gorilla and the final one was a mixture of a cheetah,

I staggered as it felt like an earthquake was about to erupt which eventually led to me having to hold on to a tree so that I wouldn’t have to fall. Right in front of my eyes, the ground parted into two and from underneath, something with scary horns, a half human and half dragon with the scariest looking face to ever exist, top body human, lower dragon, emerged and as it did, the thing that was melting muttered, “Gadob.” Hearing this, I staggered as it felt like my heart had sunk into my stomach.

I wanted to live, and I fought for it. “I hope you are right,” he muttered. I nudged him playfully. He was as solemn as Poseidon could be. Repetitive clicking came down the dock. It wasn’t of normal footsteps until I saw Galen, the enormous half spider trill beside me. “Is Silas being grumpy?” Galen clicked his pinchers together near his face, lowering his body to see the both of us. His legs so long they went behind my back.

And he was terrified. The scene flickered into focus. He was in a vast underground chamber illuminated by torches. The walls were engraved with royal symbols. In the center of the room, a body lay upon a stone altar. It was Morat. But not the Morat she knew. This was Morat in his mighty, original form: a majestic creature, half-man and half-mountain lion, with thick silver and brown fur and powerful claws. Now, however, the body was still, eyes shut, chest unmoving. Poison.

“You see Ariel. Horses are really a good judge of character. You see snowflake here? She’s not even scared of you right now. She’s just worked up, because you are. Just calm down a fucking bit and try to get close to her. See what kind of monster you really are. I fucking trust you with my animals, which is saying a lot.” Snake came running in the barn and ran towards me, greeting me and then ran to Ariel. He must have heard her scream. He jumped against her, something he did with April and Emma, asking them to run with him. “Snake wants to play Ariel. He wants to run. You want to give it a try? The woods here are quiet. No one will see you.” Ariel spoke, which was fucking weird in this form

Grayson ordered as Rosa joined them again, covering the rear. Suddenly, the hallway lights flickered, and from around the corner came a sound–a wet, clicking noise. Not footsteps. Not quite human. Grayson raised his weapon. "Something’s here." They froze. A figure turned the corner. Not a soldier. It was a hybrid.
