Many would surrender. Kohl whipped his tail around and sent five boars into the approaching enemy. His father did the same, but more Tryn crashed over their fallen comrades. Their short, black leather wings unable to lift themselves more than a few feet from the ground. They were half the size of dragons and stood hunched over at about seven feet tall. Skin darker than the night and red glowing eyes as they scampered closer. “Go!” Kohl shouted. His father ignored him and threw another pig, then blasted the trees with his dragon fire to make them tumble and crush on top of several of the enemy.

Jasper said with a shocked look on his face. “This is what I basically did in the unit,” I said and they all looked at me with new respect in their eyes. I led the girls outside and we got them safely in the cars and Abeloth separated from me again. Bazzoit was standing next to Lucas and together our dragons made quick work of the house after we’d dragged the four vampires inside. “I’ll fly back with you,” Lucas said as he climbed up Bazzoit’s leg. I climbed on top of Abeloth and he took off into the night air. Lucas and I couldn’t talk to each other but I knew the two dragons were communicating.

Xayden’s POV “Mate !” Rhys and a new dragon from the squad chimed together as soon as the cartel touched base. The dragon did not seem to be a Beta. Instead beta dragons closely protected the newcomer and let him head the entourage into our pack in a limited edition black Rolls Royce. I burst out laughing while Rhys looked at the Alpha Dragon aghast. “Noooo !” He screamed. “I reject ! I reject !” He shrieked hysterically.

"What?" Azalia couldn't believe her ears. Surely, she hadn't heard Melech right. "A dragony?" She repeated in a puzzled voice. "Nobody in their right mind would ride such a dangerous creature." Dragonies were small dragon-like creatures belonging to the Adom Kingdom. They were a dark orange colour, their wings and bodies covered with red scales strong enough to stop a blade. They were gorgeous but could breathe fire and had extremely sharp fangs and claws that could kill a man on the spot. Azalia would never dare approach one of those too close.

Lord Dragnon moved from side to side, effortlessly and elegantly avoiding Robbert's attacks like they were just a whisk of wind blowing over his shoulder. “Is this really all you have to offer?” Lord Dragon asked, then slammed his fist into Robbert's stomach. Robbertwas sent flying to the end of the room. He crashed into the wall, causing it to crack, then leaped back at his father almost immediately after, growling loudly.

Ylys is in front, by herself, followed by the silver dragons, then the bronze dragons, then blue, red, and finally, greens. There are only four silver dragons, and I am the only rider of a silver. There is a bronze rider, two red, two blue, and three green riders. That’s all of us, nine riders. That’s how selective the dragons are about who they will bond their lives to. It makes me even more proud to know that I was not only worthy of being a dragon rider, but worthy of being a rider to a silver dragon.
