Frankie instructed. "Yes, sir," the servant responded and headed upstairs. At that moment, Frankie flipped to a childhood photo of Raiden, around five years old, hugging a panda plush toy—completely naked—his little lips pouted in clear discontent. He proudly pointed it out to Skyler, unable to hold back his laughter.

I finally let it out, and Sasha’s eyes almost bulged out of her sockets. “What?” she yelled at the top of her voice, and Mr Freddie turned me around to face him. “Are you joking or are you serious?” he asked me, and I shook my head. “I've never been one to joke around, Mr Freddie. You know that” I told him, and his eyes grew round too. “I should get us coffee first. We need to drink something while listening to you,” Sasha interjected, and Mr Freddie nodded in agreement as he waved her off.

Franklin's whoop of delight was so loud a nurse appeared in his hospital room doorway, concern evident until she noted his happy expression. "Finally!" Franklin exclaimed. "I was beginning to think Volkov had lost his nerve." "Just waiting for the perfect moment, sir," Alek replied, leaning into frame beside Emma. "Well, this calls for celebration." Franklin reached for something off-camera, producing a small crystal glass of amber liquid. "Don't tell the doctors." "Grandpa! You're not supposed to—" "One sip of thirty-year-old scotch won't kill me," Franklin interrupted with characteristic stubbornness. "Some occasions demand proper acknowledgment."

I continued, a little irritated. “Olivia, calm down. We have a very IT savvy boy who loves to invent things useful to us as well. He’s made some glasses that he’s put a camera and microphone in. On one arm is the microphone and on the other the camera. I honestly tell you it amazed me to see that those glasses could do so much. I even had them tested, and no detector found the camera or microphone,” Frank told me. “Wow! How cool is that? Bravo!” I exclaimed in amazement.

The robots nodded their heads “you are our Master and we were built to co-join with you so we may function at one hundred percent of our capability sir.” Francesco rubbed his chin as the explanation only made him more curious as his imagination immediately ran wild. His eyes widened slightly “okay?” he nodded slowly “I think I get it now” The robots remained silent as Francesco continued “if I am right you mean you can enter my body yeah?” He pointed toward himself “and just like in those cyborg movies, I become the host yeah?” this time the excitement in Francesco became noticeable. “Meaning I can have all of you inside me, and then you can come out whenever you want right”

Franklyn hesitated, still unsure, especially since he had driven his own car here and didn't fully trust his perverted chief. "Haha... Chief, I came here in my own car, so, uh... you can leave," Franklyn said with a nervous laugh. "I said, are you coming or not? Don’t make me repeat myself," Adler replied, his tone sharp and commanding. Franklyn gulped and, with no choice, hopped into Adler’s luxurious Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

The waiter smiled and thanked us before he left. I put the wallet back in my bag and closed it. I then reached for my frappe and put the straw in it as I took a sip on it.

They couldn't even lift their heads. "Okay, first questions?" I began, not even caring if they needed a minute or two to rejuvenate themselves. "What are two lackeys of the Order doing in a family bbq of the Reid-Wolfe?" Frankie was the first to raise his head at me slowly. "We...we were assigned to keep watch." "On who?" "I'm not fucking saying anything." Sasha, who controls his wire, pulls the lever, sending more voltage to him with the wrong answer. He screams in agony.

Once we have stopped moving and got comfortable, Frankie turns to me with a cold smile that actually sends a chill through me. "Now what the fuck happened."

This was how I knew something was wrong. “Come in, quickly,” Franky said in a rushed voice, ushering me into his house, and locking the door behind me. I could smell a strong scent of liquor coming off him though it was only morning. What the hell was going on with him? Franky led me into the kitchen. “Do you want a cup of coffee?” he asked. “Yes, please,” I answered, mostly so that he would have one too and it would help him sober up. He made a pot of coffee. It frightened me that his movements were jerky and at one point he dropped a mug, swearing and having to sweep it up. This was so different from the calm, cool, and collected Franky that I knew.
