By dinner time, Emma's peaceful recovery had transformed into barely controlled chaos. Franklin had arrived with not just Walter, but his day nurse, night nurse, physical therapist, chef, and enough medical equipment to stock a small clinic. "I thought you were bringing essentials," Emma said, watching from her doorway as staff arranged Franklin's things in the guest suite. "These are essentials," Franklin replied from his wheelchair—used for transport only, as he insisted on walking whenever possible. "A man has standards."

Franklin chuckled softly, and then nodded. “How did you watch it though?” I asked, leaning against a tree. “Two people came around trying to be mad. I killed them, used their phones, and disposed off their bodies.” Franklin said, and my eyes widened in shock. “Relax. I didn't kill them. I have a TV at the house, remember?” Franklin said, and I calmed down. “Wanna race me back to the house?” I asked him, flashing my claws at him. “You really want to lose against me?” Franklin scoffed, absolutely confident that he'd win.

“They’d love it here.” Franklin’s lips curved, but the expression did not reach his eyes. “Maybe another time.” He reached for the central control panel mounted discreetly along the wall and pressed a series of buttons, and as he did, the room transformed piece by piece, screens sliding down seamlessly, ambient lighting shifting tones, music filtering softly through hidden speakers, and gaming consoles illuminating in quiet invitation. The place responded to his touch like it recognized him. “You really know how to spend money,” Frederick said thoughtfully, his gaze sweeping across the space with something that looked suspiciously like envy.

Kendrick opened the car door, letting Nathan see the exquisite toy inside. It instantly captured Nathan's attention. He looked at Francis holding him and then at the robot, contemplating. Kendrick smiled upon seeing this. He didn't believe Francis could beat Nathan's favorite toy. Finally making up his mind, Nathan hugged Francis' neck and shook his head. "Daddy, you can leave the toy there. I'll play with it later when I go home." Then, he hugged Francis' neck affectionately, leaving Kendrick and his toy. Kendrick watched in astonishment as the red Ferrari sped away.

The gravel crunches beneath the tyres of the driveway, and as it makes a turn around a beautiful fountain with sculptures of angels and nymphes, I stare up in awe at the facade of the big mansion. The entire drive to my new home, as Ambrosio put it, was quiet and peaceful. I got to sit in the backseat next to him while a driver in a black suit drove us around the city. He had introduced himself as Franky, and he nearly made me giggle as he got into the car with his long legs, looking like a clumsy stork.

The laboratory echoed with the sound of machinery whirring and sparks flying as David held Francheska. Francheska's father took another remote control from his pocket. "This fight is far from over, David. Francheska is mine alone. She is my daughter." David's eyes widened in shock. "Your daughter?!" he exclaimed, his mind reeling with the implications. Before David could react, Francheska's robotic body acted on the remote to attack David, her eyes flashing with an intense, mechanical energy. David was shocked again, knowing he had to find a way to shut her robotic self down without harming her, but it seemed like an impossible task.

Spotting a shirt I slip it on and head to the door, popping my head around the door I spot Fran first; Shit she looks even bigger than before and am sure it’s only been a day or so. “Little wolf, you're awake, how are you feeling?” Clay says as he spots me, Fran hands me a coffee and I smile my thanks when I take it, I can’t help notice how she is waddling poor thing. Clayton pulls me onto his knee as I reach the small dining table they are sitting around.

"You stay here and eat properly. I will go." It should be Frank coming to pick up Danny after his meeting. I got up to open the door and, sure enough, faced a pair of slightly displeased and scrutinizing brown eyes. Frank leaned on his wheelchair, looking up at me. "Push me inside." "Can't you do it yourself…" His wheelchair was electric. Frank yawned and said nonchalantly, "I’ve hurt my hands." "Alright." I walked around behind him and pushed him in. "Danny is still eating. Do you want to join…"

"Thank you, Richard. I'll wait for this robot to finish." "Of course, Mom. You can look forward to it." When I looked at his face again, Richard looked proud. I nodded again, slightly smoothing his hair, which was a little messy from being too excited while I explained the new features of the robot. I remembered that he was talking about the exterior of the robot, which was resistant to fire, water, and high-speed crashes. The system could also speak to him in short and easy-to-understand terms, but for now, Richard said that he had only activated the protection function.

Frank stammered, shivering in his boots. “Then from now on, prepare to be left-handed.” Harvey’s tone was ice. Tyson walked up to Frank with an equally cold expression, then slammed Frank with a brick. Frank trembled harder. He opened his mouth to speak, shivering in fear. “Since we’ve come to this point, there’s no need for the two of you to do it yourselves. I can do something this trivial for you.” So saying, Frank grabbed the brick with his left hand, then furiously slammed it onto his right.
