"Wait, that smell... it scent was no different from the rabbit we smelled in the first place," Roy said with certainty. "You're right... it must be the rabbit," Cara supported him. They both advanced forward towards the tree where they heard the sound. Roy peeked into the bush with his wolf eyes and sighted the rabbit. He giggled and told Cara to sit that out as he would go for it and since Cara had tried it out at first but failed.

Biting back my next question, I watch with wide eyes as Migel leaps and begins to plummet toward the roof like some fucking flying squirrel until he hits the roof and rolls. Standing, he looks toward me and begins to wave his arm, urging me to come join him. Feeling a sudden feeling of unease, I consider aborting the mission, but soon find that I’m running across the large limb that I’m standing on and then leaping. When I hit the roof, the creature gives a low rumble of a growl, putting me on high alert. “Don’t worry,” Migel says, reaching in his pocket and pulling out what looks like a dead rat. “If you give him treats, he becomes your best friend.”
