The creature growled before passing out on the ground, leaving a thud sound. The lady rushed to where his body that slowly transformed back into his human was. “I’m here, my love.” She cooed at him softly, like a mother rocking her baby to sleep. The scene alone made Caierre confused, he stared at them with no emotions in his heart. ‘That’s our mate,’ his wolf, who had never been awakened, said. ‘Push her off our mate’ ‘Mate?’ Caierre scoffed. ‘Spare me the lies’ ‘It’s not a lie, you felt it too’ his wolf pushed back.

She looked like a goddess, and she knew it. Lola, Jemma, and Alec were already down by the water, shrieking every time the waves caught their ankles. Thorne squealed, trying to leap from my arms to join the chaos. “Not yet, buddy,” I laughed, adjusting him on my hip. That’s when I saw him. Roman.
