I stated my unerring assumption. “Why can you always read my mind?” Alpha Romeo snorted. “Have you talked to your nephew about it?” “He knows I like to fight like his father.” Alpha Romeo replied casually. “He seems to have the same nature as us.” “How fortunate that my pack is not your pack’s enemy.” “I think so too. Romeo would never forgive me for running away, and he would make sure that I paid the ultimate price. I stood frozen for a moment, unsure of what to do. But I couldn't just stay there and wait for the guard to find me. I took a deep breath and let go of the rope, dropping the last few feet to the ground. I landed on the grass softly, but for the patrol guards, it was a thud that was sure to alert them. Their ears were sharper than any other wolf, which was why they were given the duty of patrolling.

Midnight rips the wolf's head and gives Rogue a death stare. El Rey Alpha Keema’s wolf spits a wolf leg on the ground and sinks his teeth into another wolf’s shoulder, tearing it apart. He was the Alpha of the Paco because his parents were dead. Though I didn't know why he hadn't visited me for the past weeks. I guessed he was still mad at me for being mean to Elora the time he came over last. But that wasn't what was disturbing right now. “You can tell us.” Romeo’s eyes flicked between me and Conan before he let out a long breath. “I’ve been tracking a group of rogues for months now. They’ve been moving through territories, organizing… more than just random attacks. They’re planning something, something big. And I think they have their sights set on the Royal Crimson pack.” I felt a jolt of adrenaline rush through me, my muscles tightening at the mention of rogues. I had dealt with them before…vicious, lawless wolves who thrived on chaos. But this sounded different.

And the first roar that Romeo and Jade heard made them tremble even more. 'Shine.' Was the first sentence Jade threw in Romeo's mind. This made the owner of the name glance at him.
