His hair looked a bit rough, like he had run his hands through them a countless number of times. “You look lovely as always, princess.” Roman says when I'm finally settled in my chair. I feel a faint blush coating my cheeks. I do not know how to respond to that so I do not even try to respond. I had taken the chair directly opposite from him, not concerned about the crazy amount of space in between us, i couldn't risk being close to him even for one second. I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest. As we perused the menu, Alessandro, our server, arrived with a warm smile. "Buona sera! Welcome to Bella Vita. I'll be taking care of you tonight. May I start by bringing you some antipasti?" Romario nodded, his eyes never leaving mine. "Yes, please. We'll have the Bruschetta and Insalata Caprese." Alessandro nodded and disappeared, returning with a tray bearing two steaming dishes. The aroma of fresh tomatoes and basil wafted up, making my stomach growl with anticipation.

People walking around, some of them are laughing and some are just walking in a fast pace. After five minutes of walking, a restaurant finally come into view. Ristorante Moma. My soul seems to jump in joy once we step inside. The smell of pasta, grated cheese and black peppers somehow attracts me. I find myself sniffing the smell and I smile to myself unknowingly. Alex finds a table for us to sit and he sits down, putting both of his hands on the table. I sit the opposite from him, so that we are face to face. He looks around until a waitress walk toward us, smiling, ''Pronto per l'ordine?'' She asks.

Stefan “Well, well, Stefan Rossi in my restaurant. Today must be my lucky day,” Kingston, the owner of the five star rooftop restaurant, beamed as he approached our table. I barely looked up as I took the menu from his hand. “Kingston, good to see you,” I said coolly, scanning the selections while Oliver beside me ordered without hesitation. “It’s an honour, boss,” Kingston grinned, bowing slightly before turning away. “Clear this floor,” I called out as he walked off. “I don’t want a single soul here but us.”

"Then I'll try it" she replied.

I started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot with tires screeching against the pavement. During the drive I grabbed my phone and dialed Rocco. He answered on the second ring. “Boss, what is going on?” “Where is Roman right now?” I demanded. My voice came out rough and low. “Tell me exactly where that bastard is.” Rocco hesitated for a second. “He was discharged earlier today. He is at one of the De Santis family bars on the east side. The Golden Lion. Should I meet you there with backup, Boss?”

He hadn't experienced this kind of food for a long time. In the past, he always hid in the crowd like this when he was out on missions. In fact, he liked this kind of ordinary life very much.
