William added. Ruth frowned, quickening her steps as she approached Frederick's chambers. William moved to knock, but she pushed the door open herself with a stern look on her face. The moment the door swung wide, a strong scent of alcohol hit them. The room was dim and shadowed, and for a moment, Ruth could barely make out anything inside. The scent of alcohol made her head throb. "Light the lamps!" she ordered, her voice low and sharp. William nodded and carefully stepped inside, pulling back the embroidered cloth that concealed the Night Pearls set into the wall. As they caught the light, the room brightened as if it were daytime.

“Do you smell it?” My frown deepened. “What nonsense are you blabbering about? Have you lost your mind?” He turned his head away from me, doing that weird sniffing thing. “The whole palace needs to be rid of moonveil blossom.” Moonveil blossom. There was nothing like that planted anywhere on my grounds. “I think you have officially lost it and you better pray to the goddess that I don’t lose my shit.” “Who put this flower here?” He motioned to the discard bouquet. “Whoever put this here is bathed in the moonveil blossom.”

“Pastries up in a couple of minutes. I think we’ve got pain au chocolat and cheese danishes left.” He'd gone back to staring into the distance, but perked up when he smelled the coffee. I make good coffee. “Thanks for the flowers,” I said. “They’re lovely! Where’d you get them? I thought sunflower season was over already.” He lifted his mug and took a sip. I waited. “The Bloom Room,” he said. “Just off Fifth Street.” “Downtown,” I said. “All kinds of good stores, but never enough parking. You always have to park somewhere else and walk. Which is fine, unless it’s raining!” I laughed.

It was furnished with the best exterior and interior designs, giving it a fanciful look. I decided to book the hotel garden. It was so serene and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The sweet scents of rose, daisy and tulips rented the air. Colourful butterflies danced around the attractive ornaments. The fresh air and tranquility the garden gave was exactly what Granny needed. Behind us were four bodyguards while granny's nanny sat beside her. I smiled as I watched my folks talk and laugh out loud. I was glad that I was able to spend some quality time with them. It wasn't something I was always chanced to do due to my busy schedule at work.

You could see it was anything but modest, created so that you nearly felt as though you could really connect with the various blossoms that made up the plan. Blossoms appeared to be the significant reason for the layout of the room. Beside the boundary and the coat rack, there were likewise pruned plants situated in essential spots around the room. Numbering five plants on the whole, two were set on inverse sides of the entryway, one was put on the work area close to the light, and the others were set close to a little chair frequently used by the rooms' proprietor to get up to speed with his numerous long periods of lost sleep.

He looked at me. “…let him have it, we have our own room.” A pause. Then— he grumbled. “…fine.” Alex grinned. Victory. The third room— A flower garden. Soft colors. Blooming patterns everywhere. With a small turret— Overlooking the ocean. Mrs. Sun clasped her hands together. “Oh, I adore this one.” She turned to me. “I will take this room.” Of course she would. The day passed— In laughter. In movement.

The small room suddenly went dark and Eldion immediately held his palm up to create a fire ball that lit the chamber. Eldion gasped as he noticed the plants on the walls start to bloom with their large white flowers. The flowers glowed bluish with the light of Eldion’s fireball. As Eldion looked on, he smelled the sweet fragrance of the flowers. He felt relaxed and at peace as if the fragrance of the flowers had a calming effect. Little particles emerged from some of the plants on the floor and rose to the air. The scene looked magical and Eldion could not help but feel mesmerized by what he saw.

Adrian raises a finger before he dashes out of the room, and the next second several men file into the room, each with a huge bouquet in their arms, big enough to hide them completely. The room is filled with color in an instant. The theme of the bouquets is rose, decorated with lilies, my favorite. The annoying smell of disinfectant is replaced by a soothing fragrant, tickling a deep corner of my memory, as if I was once in a room pretty and scented just like this... “Great, thanks!” Adrian’s whisper at the outside of the door snaps me back to reality. I blink, and my heart races like a broken engine. Is this what I think it is?

The school had sent out details of students’ dorm rooms and every other vital piece of information through email. “What room are you?” she asked, and I pursed my lips, staring down at my phone. “Room 17…” I was interrupted when Harper shrieked and threw her arms around me. “Our rooms will be right next to each other!” she grinned, and I cocked my head to the side.

The ceiling of the room was low, and she couldn’t really see any lights in the room except the daylight that poured in through the window. Outside her window was a large bush, that was just starting to bloom. Beyond that she could see bits and pieces of a garden that looked inviting and well cared for, if somewhat chaotic. It was a garden to lay on a hammock and read in, or nap in. Inviting and cozy, much like her room. And it was a nice enough room. Poppy would have been pleased to have been there, if only she knew where there was and who had brought her. And why.
