The Miracle Luna
Just as Aurora’s words hung between us, the air in the room shifted.
A faint glow—subtle at first—began to pulse beneath Priscilla’s back, seeping through the couch like moonlight breaking through storm clouds. My breath caught.
“Aurora…”
“I see it,” she murmured, taking a step closer.
Then it happened.
Priscilla rose.
Her body lifted off the couch slowly, unnaturally, like she was being pulled upward by invisible strings. Her arms dangled at her sides, her head tilted slightly back, eyes still closed.
