Adrian's POV The last two weeks had been hell. No matter which way I turn, there she is. I can smell her everywhere, and the more time passes, the worse it gets. Slowly but surely Monty has been rallying the rogues. Every morning, he disappears into the woods, staying away all day and returning with two or three bedraggled and terrified-looking wolves. I had received no warrior training myself, but some of the rogues used to be Caspian’s warriors and they have enough experience to help me get started.

And I chose Kannon. Yet and still, Monty showed up for me more than anyone. “Well, crying nah go change nutten, yuh hear? His legs bowed when he walked, and his shoulders swayed with a swagger that was hard to ignore. If I had never met Kannon, and Monty wasn’t dating Draya, I would’ve locked him down a long time ago.

I stated. I dropped on the couch and switched on the tv. "At seven huh?" Roxy took away the remont from me. She sat on top of me as she sighed, "We got plenty of time." "Roxy, please...I'm in no mood," I tried to argue while she massaged my shoulders. "I know, there's no way I'm gonna finally turn you on but you turn me on and I can't just stay like this!" she said gliding her hand under my shirt so she was touching my bare skin with her freezing hands.

I’m striding inside, chest heaving, ready to explode. The place is half full, with some of the guys playing pool and others drinking and chatting it up. Roxy stands out like a fox in a henhouse, leaning over the bar like she’s begging to get fucked, sipping a beer like she just got her lips done. When she sees me striding in her direction, her lips twist and her eyes narrow in a knowing smile. Almost amused. “Trouble in paradise, big boy?” she practically meows, twisting a lock of her hair around her painted nail.

When she's out of sight, Roxy clears her throat and I realize that I have been staring at Sabrina, shooting invisible daggers at her. "So, Bethany, huh? How may we help you?" Roxy asks, her voice is laced with pure sarcasm. She crosses her arms in front of her chest and leans against the door frame, scanning Sabrina from head to toe. "I come here in peace–" she begins but Roxy cuts her off. "Bullshit!" Roxy sneers while rolling her eyes.

He asks raising a eyebrow. "James you always look like shit. And yes it looks like your cock blocking ass was too late to kill our joy, fuck yes the night was fun" Roxy says sassily before showing him the bird. "That's a shame, well good thing I'm here for the rest of the week and I'm going to be the biggest kill joy. Like for starters, go put on some pants child, you look like a 2 dollar hooker" he says in a voice which I think he thinks sounds like mom.

“I had a hunch and I metal-scanned Tequila and she did the same to me. It was in her wrist Bry. Her fucking wrist!” “Woah!” His orbs widened. “We need to get it removed quickly and really carefully.” “We already got rid of it Bry. One wrong move and I could’ve lost her.” Storm’s voice took a low tone as he ran his hand through his hair out of frustration. “That’s wild.” Bryan mumbled, still in shock. “Find the rat Bryan. For Ro- Teq, that much is true. “Yes boss.” Bryan smiled at his close slip-up. “I know she goes by Roxy, Storm.” Bryan looked up at him and Storm couldn’t wipe off the dreamy smile on his face as Bryan spoke about her.

Xavier sighed, bringing his fingers up to his forehead and massaging his aching head. He takes off his glasses and sets them down on one of the printed pictures. “In a family as large as ours, there’s bound to be some that do not agree with the rules,” Xavier said coldly. “I will find whoever it is, give me a week!” Monty announced, his brows furrowed with determination and his lips pursed. “No, take your time Monty,” Xavier rose from the chair and swayed a bit feeling the entire room spin, when he noticed Monty reaching out to help, he steadied himself and held his finger out, making Monty stop in his tracks.

Roxy sneered but didn't seem irritated. "So, there really is? Who is it? Is it still, Marcus?" Lia immediately caught and tried to catch Roxy. Roxy suddenly blushed. "What... again, honey? Marcus and I never had anything before. Why it's 'Marcus again', huh?" Roxy leered at Lia. "What 'WHAT' is that? Continue that 'what' sentence, Rox." Summer frowned and wandered at Lia and Roxy's conversations.

Although he brought me clothes, it didn’t erase what Huxley had just done and I dressed up in the cream suit dress he had gotten me, my mind replayed everything that had happened between us just now. It was weird. Despite my hatred for him, it was hard to deny how my body had reacted so obviously to him. Also, there was Roxy’s reaction to him. “Roxy, why are you not angry anytime you see Huxley? He rejected us.” I question as I stepped out of his office and straight into my office. “His wolf wants me,” came Roxy’s reply. I don’t know if it’s just in my head but she sure did sound a little angry. Was she angry at Huxley’s wolf or Huxley?
