She knew what she wanted to do, and that was what she had in mind.
Rose appeared beneath the sea, and the weight of the water was heavy around her. The sea sensed her anger, and it kept still. She didn't breathe in water or acknowledge any sea creature which oddly enough didn't want to be close to her. But she did know that they were staring as she punched her hand into the sea bed, letting it sink into the mud, then she withdrew her hand, retrieving a red rose.
It still bloomed, and seeing where Fred had kept it in the sea, Rose understood why Crystal hadn't sensed it.
