The Alpha’s Moonbreather
The clouds twisted unnaturally fast, spiraling inward as if drawn to the power clashing below.
Wolves froze mid-run.
Humans dropped to their knees.
Every eye turned upward as the moon began to change.
It darkened first, the silver draining from it until it glowed a deep, ominous red. Gasps rippled through the city.
“A blood moon,” someone whispered.
“No,” an elder murmured, voice shaking. “An eclipse.”
Elise landed lightly on the broken stone, water settling around her feet in a slow, deliberate tide. She straightened, chest rising and falling, eyes locked on the monster across from her.
