Runaway With A Baby Romane & Geschichten

I needed to get the hell out of there, and fast. “Kael!” Jarek yelled again, revving his engine. “Get her in the truck!” I didn’t need to be told twice. I moved as quickly as I could, shifting the baby so she was cradled against my chest as I ran for Jarek’s truck. He threw open the door and motioned for me to get in. “Let’s go, man. We can’t stay here.” I didn’t need to hear anything more. I hopped into the truck, Jarek already slamming the gas pedal to the floor as we tore down the road, away from the wolves, away from everything. But I knew it wasn’t over. Not yet.

I turned and ran. Branches tore at my skin as I sprinted through the forest. The rogues chased after me. Their footsteps thundered behind me. Too fast. Too close. I couldn't outrun them. I knew it. They knew it. A hand grabbed my hair. I screamed. The force sent me crashing onto the ground. Pain exploded through my body. My hands immediately covered my stomach. Protecting my baby. Protecting the only thing left in my life. The rogue leader towered above me.

I sprinted towards her, bullets kicking up shards of brick at my heels. She stood paralyzed behind an overturned table, one hand instinctively cradling her belly. I shielded her body with mine and urged her towards the exit. "We need to move, now!" We scrambled into a sheltered alcove. Her eyes were wild, face streaked with tears. "Oh God, the baby-" "You'll both be alright," I soothed. I peeked out - we weren't far from an escape route. I steeled myself. "On three, we run."

Please, please let me be faster than him! My plan won’t work unless I can escape into the bathroom without him noticing. Once the doctors and nurses get involved, slipping away will be that much harder. Darting through the sliding glass doors, I feel the eyes of the front desk on me. “Sorry!” I groan, patting my belly with a sheepish grin. “Baby’s pressing on my bladder, can’t wait!”

He pulled my hand toward him, making me look him in the eye. “I’m not just a runaway,” I said, the words trembling from my throat. “I’m the reason your pack is being watched. I’m the reason Uncle Max is here. I’m—” “Mine to protect,” he cut me off. My heart pounded fast in my chest as I realised how close his face was to mine. It’s so close that I could feel his warm breath fanning my lips and see my own reflection in his iris. I swallowed with difficulty as the silence that followed around us became deafening.

falls down on his back, All he thought of was to runaway, Carl had already frightened the daylight out of him, people stared and tried to get him up but he refused, “You were screaming for help not to long ago now you are behaving adamantly, just go to heck”, said angrily by one of the strangers that walked passed by the street. “Ohh my goodness I gotta go, The young man stood and began to quickly run away the moment he sighted Carl and his son coming.

"But then, the thought of how much you love children—how hard you tried to conceive—I couldn't bring myself to blame you. I had no right to. "I know you're still angry. I've been paying for it. But now that you're back, please—don't leave again." I replied in the simplest way possible. "The hearing's about to start. Let's go inside." Without waiting, I stepped into the courthouse. But after waiting for what felt like forever, I realized Gaius had fled. I'd suspected he might refuse to cooperate, but I didn't expect him to be such a coward. I left everything in the hands of my lawyer and flew abroad that very day.

If the two discovered the test, she could forget about ever leaving Silverspring Pack safely. Caitlin was only sauntering over; Catherine glanced at the deeply hidden pregnancy test and quickly made a decision. Turning her back, she discreetly tore the test into pieces, quickly crumpled it, and swallowed it. Her child had nothing to do with Silverspring Pack, and she would never let Hansen know about the baby. Catherine didn't have much to pack. She grabbed the shopping bag and walked out of the closet, coldly stating, "Do you want to inspect it?"
