The Quarterback's Omega Mate

The Quarterback's Omega Mate

A girl yelled before Maverick could respond. He turned his body, and a smile formed on his face. “What do you want?” he asked playfully. I knew our relationship was pretty new, but he never took that tone with me. Rune was a cheerleader and the daughter of another wealthy beta billionaire. Her father was very close to Maverick’s uncle and the current Alpha. She wore thin white tights, a petite Daciana Wildcat cheerleader uniform. She tied her deep brown hair with golden highlights into a high ponytail.

Lured By The Cursed Alpha

Lured By The Cursed Alpha

"You told me how runes work." "26 letters, every one of them is a picture by itself. And I can cut the letters open and assemble them however I want, so." I shrugged with sarcasm, "I'm sure you can read it after one class." Al curved his lips. "Would you tell me if I get it right then?" Al asked. "Sure, I can even tell you it's a three-letter word." I shrugged. Even if Al could read Runes, this one was ruined by blood. Even granny couldn't recognize it.

Yeah this is really good. I thought the results of 10/10 was a bit dramatic but this is very well written. Firstly it’s not predictable, which I love, but there seems to be a lot of things under the surface that the author has considered since the start. I can’t wait for it to be finished!

My Seven Gorgeous Women

My Seven Gorgeous Women

A golden rune floated in Chase's palm, shimmering with radiant energy. The rune collided with the rusted blade, scattering dazzling sparks into the air. "What?!" the elder exclaimed, his pupils constricting. "Do you think a piece of worthless scrap metal can harm me? How laughable." Chase shook his head. He flicked his fingers, and the golden rune expanded to the size of a hand. In an instant, it transformed into a blazing flame that radiated intense heat. It spread in all directions.

Running with Wolves

Running with Wolves

Rune asked as she walked into the room, wearing one of my shirts and drying her curly locks with a towel. “Come here.” I lifted my hand, motioning her to come. “Why are you laughing?” she said, coming to sit close to me, with wonder in her amber eyes. “I don’t know.” I answered truthfully. Now that she had been accepted into the pack, her roguish scent was leaving her lovely skin and the scent of watermelon and a hint of mint hit me. I relished in her incredible aroma, I would love to sniff her hair every morning and carry a whiff of her with me everywhere I went. I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me, doing just that, burying my nose in her golden curls.

A Blind Gamble: The Mate I Never Chose

A Blind Gamble: The Mate I Never Chose

Rune paused for a moment and laughed softly alongside his brother. “And what do you want with it?” He inquired curiously. “It's just an old book filled with travel logs of an eccentric man. What does a great family want with such old trash?” “Trash?” She replied. “You and I know that book is anything but trash. If it was, you would have disposed of it the second he died,” Rune sat back on one of the chairs with a blank gaze, she had a point that had his tongue tied. “But I am a business woman unlike the Salvatores and Argyles. I operate with honor, give me the book and I will be a silent partner for your company,”

Bloodmoon & Incubi Anthology

Bloodmoon & Incubi Anthology

It makes Jason special. I was ready to let the idea of Auðr feeding on me go in exchange for a kiss. Of course, that got ruined. Thankfully, our first kiss hadn’t been so rudely interrupted. RUDE is the keyword. It’s not a secret that Rune is known as the asshole of the band, but calling me a half-breed mutt is as bad as those protester fucks outside calling me and others slurs for our sexuality and gender identities. As such, I don’t feel bad that I told Rune exactly what I thought and let Eclipse out enough to send the vampire flying. ‘Fucker deserved it.’ Eclipse snorted.

THE ACCURSED

THE ACCURSED

Merry pleaded. Rune laughed “You don’t have to, sit down.” She said the human obeyed promptly, a glass cup appeared on Rune’s palm, she handed it over to the human “Drink that, it will make you heal faster.” Merry took it in fear and slowly drank it, it wasn’t bitter, but it tasted like ice cream. “I don’t have much time, listen to me …” Rune said with seriousness as she narrated all she had to. “Kaiden is not human? Me? A sacrifice? Derek and Danica aren’t human?” Merry question, Rune nodded, it was hard to believe all of this but most especially she wanted to be out of here.

Rejected And Chased By The Alpha

It. Signed Rune. I laugh.. a really slight chuckle. I didn’t know what to say after reading those lines? I wish I could figure him out.. I would have gone right to him and smack him on his face for giving me this few words. Though, why do I feel like I miss him sending those long letter and annoying words that in the end makes me laugh like crazy? I wonder why he had sent just this? I told him men are scums and he still disagrees with the fact that they are. He would always say, “ you still haven’t meant the good guys yet.”

My Unholy Mate

Rune grabbed my arm and looked at me with pain-filled eyes. "You don't mean that," he said softly and I exhaled slowly and shook my head as I pulled my hand away. "I need to visit with Lucifer," I mumbled as I crossed my arms. Rune drained his coffee and stood. "Guess you should see what I look like there. Come here," he mumbled. I eyed him oddly and stepped slowly into his arms and we vanished. When we appeared before Lucifer's front door I gasped seeing Rune. He had turned completely gray, bigger with long black shaggy hair and large curling horns. He grunted and told me "surprise". I grinned slightly and told him he looked very handsome. He was bare except for a thick leather belt and loi

Frequently Asked Questions

The 'Rune' comic series is this wild mix of cosmic adventure and brutal fantasy that I stumbled upon years ago, and it's stuck with me ever since. Created by Christopher Golden and later taken over by other writers, it follows this immortal warrior named Rune who's cursed to live forever after betraying a vampire lord. The coolest part? He's not your typical brooding antihero—he's a party animal, a literal rock star who fights monsters between gigs. The series blends ancient mythology with modern-day chaos, like if 'Highlander' had a baby with 'Interview with the Vampire' and then tossed in a mosh pit. The art style shifts over time, but the early issues by Barry Windsor-Smith are especially gorgeous, all detailed and moody.

What really hooked me was how the series plays with immortality as both a gift and a prison. Rune's stuck in this cycle of violence and hedonism, but there's a weirdly relatable loneliness underneath all the bloodshed. It's not just about flashy fights (though there are plenty); it digs into how someone who can't die copes with centuries of loss. Plus, the lore keeps expanding—demons, secret societies, even interdimensional stuff later on. It's a shame it never got as big as, say, 'Hellboy,' because it has that same vibe of blending pulp action with deeper themes. I still pull out my old trades every Halloween for a re-read—it's got that perfect spooky-but-fun energy.
