I couldn't help but roll my eyes at his response. Her mother didn't acknowledge her presence, just kept scrolling on her phone. Raven is not even bothered by her attitude. A huge smile forms on her face when she sees her brother Bryon, she rushes over to his side and he picks her up in a hug smiling and spinning her. I can't help the growl seeing another male touch what's mine. “It's so good to see you, Raven. I'm glad to see you happy” he says to her “Yes I am happy Bryon, I've missed you too” she says, holding his hands.

LYRA’S POV It has been long settled since I was twelve years old–my marriage with Damon. Now I am standing under the glowing natural light, clad in this red dress that smells of sweet lavender and clutching the red roses Aunt Maya carefully picked out specially for this night. The air is nice and moist, the atmosphere is amazing and the moon is slowly showing its face. I stretch my neck towards the walkway. Damon hasn't shown up yet nor his father, Alpha Thorne. Then towards the front row of people and there my best friend in the whole wide world is standing and I see her mouth “Go girl! Luna incoming!”

she said. I wrapped my hands around her and hugged her back. I don’t know how long it had been since I felt the warmth of a loving embrace. My own parents, they stopped caring about me the moment that they branded me as jealous of Bree. I closed my eyes and inhaled the scent of her sweet vanilla shampoo. I really missed the feeling of being cared for. When I finally separated from her, she was still smiling at me. Liam had Ruby in his arms “it seems that you have gotten bigger, trouble” Liam said tickling her.

There’s no chance of it yet it’s still in his wish. The wedding was held and the guests all watched it in delight. Compared to her own wedding, Raven’s wedding was good to watch and it’s beautiful. Holding her husband’s hand, Sirena watched it with a smile on her face. Once the wedding with Keagan is over, Raven becomes the Luna of Silver Fangs pack. Everyone cheered for them. The party started and Sirena started welcoming the guests. All her happiness and cheerful smile faded when she saw Alder in the crowd.

He was simply not used to my absence. He had grown so entirely dependent on my submission and my begging that he simply didn't know how to handle my indifference. Trying to find love buried beneath that much selfishness and ego was just tragic. Ultimately, the first wolf to finally lose his patience was Richard. Late one night, after Richard and I were returning from a party, we spotted Lucius from a distance. He was standing beneath a street lamp with his usual bundle of white roses. The moment I stepped out of the car, tens of thousands of rainbow fireworks bloomed across the sky behind me.

“Of course not.” Thorne studied her carefully. “You must prepare yourself.” “For what?” “For the possibility that he does not return alone.” Silence swallowed the balcony. Lyra faced the snowy mountains, refusing to let the old wolf see the flicker of fear in her eyes. “I am a Luna candidate,” she said evenly. “The pack already accepted that.” “They accepted stability,” Thorne corrected. “Not you.” The truth burned. She spun toward him. “Careful, Elder.” “You mistake warning for insult,” he replied. “Power shifts quickly when mates reappear… especially ones tied to ancient blood.”

Just then my phone vibrates with a f******k message. I let out a loud belly laugh, fuck. Handing the phone to Liam, he too laughs. Leo is asleep at the nail salon getting a calf massage with the girls. “He looks cozy. I hope he gets polish too” I chide. Liam just giggles. “Whatever Liam, you know you’d go with Luna”. He just shrugs, “I have no shame, if she wants me there what can I say?”. Honestly, Leo is probably doing it to be near Ruth. I can’t say I blame him. He’s been in love with her for so long.

Liam demanded, attempting to push past me, his steel grey eyes narrowing in suspicion. "Liam, just leave me alone. Leave. Me. The. Fuck. Alone." Ruby growled with her last statement, her wolf momentarily taking dominance. It sent shivers down my spine, and my body responded inappropriately, but I shook my head aggressively, knowing this wasn't the right time for such thoughts. It wasn't the best time for me to become hard and horny.

He had of course apologised too, I made him bake her a Victoria sponge cake and go say sorry! Liam’s words still rang in my mind and I wondered… was Robyn going to somehow be Damon’s second chance? I hoped so, because even when I left the pack, he was able to have a relationship with her, meaning he had felt strongly enough to override the guilt of the mate bond. I had faith in it happening! "Ready, Raven?" Aunty Red asked, popping her head in as the make-up artist finished off with some setting spray. "Yeah, all done." I said, standing up.

he said sympathetically, smiling broadly, his brown eyes full of interest, his plan for revenge on Leon making him persistent. Windy felt Bryan was too aggressive—but because Windy felt like a stranger in this new place, she was forced to get close to Bryan. She nodded slowly, "Thank you, Bryan. I am new, so it's hard to follow," she replied shyly, her heart still aching because of Leon but needing friends in a foreign campus. Their conversation flowed easily, and Bryan was happy because he felt his chances were opening up. *** Meanwhile, Leon had returned home and immediately looked for Sonya—the car was parked in the garage, he quickly entered the quiet, luxurious house, his heart pounding
