According to Barrett there's a lot of rare crystals and plants here that any witch or warlock would go crazy for. When Raya and I stepped out of the closet, Barrett was there with arms crossed to greet us. He seemed unhappy, which I'm starting to believe is his permanent state of being. His eyes wandered over Raya as if he were trying to make certain that she was who she said she was. Although how he planned to do that, who knows?

“We’ve got to be a wall. That’s what Dad says, right? A unit.” Ruby looked around at all of them. “Then maybe it’s time we start acting like it. For real.” They were quiet again. The kind of quiet that wasn’t awkward but heavy with thought. Seris walked over to the sword rack and picked up a small wooden blade—the one Aries had carved just for her. She tested the weight, then struck at the air in a perfect diagonal. Lucian let out a long breath. “She’s going to be unstoppable.” “She’s one of us,” Phoenix said quietly, his anger gone. “Of course she will be.”

She said and then walked back towards Adam and me. "You can have your learning centre; I don't care about things like that. You can have your clinic; besides, if everyone dies in Rayuwa, there would be no one to worship me or sacrifice. What you will not have are all the chosen maidens. I will take Six." she said, "Three." Adam interrupted, and I saw fire in her eyes. "Do you interrupt me!" she yelled, and her voice was like thunder. "No," Adam replied. I had to give it to him; he had guts.

but Adolfa had trusted me to carry it. “We don’t have any more time to debate this,” I mumbled as I opened my eyes. “They’re here.” Xavier spun around, and he tilted his head to listen to the car that was pulling into the driveway outside. “Whatever happens,” I whispered, “neither you nor Axel can reject Ruby. She’s weak in that sense. She’ll die.” “I have no plans to reject her, Natalie,” Xavier said, and I nodded and turned away.

Rowen asked, looking from me to Raziel. “Rayne is a Reaver with Wolf focused abilities.” Raziel finally said. Neither brother said anything, but the slow inhale from Rowen, and the subtle seat shift from Ramses, told me everything I needed to know. These tiny, nonverbal cues conveyed a wealth of information, hinting at the complex, simmering tensions that lay just beneath the surface.

Drake growled. Suddenly, his eyes turned red; he was fuming mad as he transformed. He runs towards the rouge, who transforms into a werewolf and mercilessly scratches his back. He wasn’t contented; he attacked the rouge, and then Drake beheaded the rouge until it transformed into a human, lying on the ground, lifeless. They fought the other rouge and howled angrily. “That’s for poisoning my stray!” Drake gritted his teeth as he beheaded them all. Beta Dillon picked up the poison's antidote and gave it to the alpha.

Alex exploded with a Buddha Dragon-Tusk Punch. It only took one punch to kill that weasel instantly. Immediately after that, he was like lightning, chasing after another one, slapping it till it fainted, its bones almost falling apart. Zendaya was also considered experienced in battles, so she helped Alex by killing it. The last weasel that headed into the trap was strangled by vines burst. "The white bone pattern ones seem to be a bit weaker." "Let's go find a stronger one." Alex directly devoured the white bone pattern of a weasel, and his body, unsurprisingly, appeared to have no bone patterns. They had all been swallowed by the Ten-Point Forbidden Spell while also replenishing his soul p

I state clearly stating that his precedes here weren’t appreciated but he doesn’t seem to get the news. He remained mute leaning back, not seeming like he was about to go anytime soon. “What do you want?” I asked irritatingly. He smiles his green eyes glittering, “You’re beautiful”” he says instead cutting me off guard. “You’re Lyra Skye? The wolf he got married to” he states yet again alarmed at how much he knew. Who was this guy? “I’m Xavier Blackwood” he responds. I read through his mind but could only get the fact that he wanted to know me out from him. He seems to know how to shield his thoughts.

At my side, Ruby breaks the neck on one enemy, and immediately engages the next one. ‘Xander, outside. We are outnumbered.’ I mindlink my mate. I feel him move, and concentrate on my next target. I plant my knife in his side, slicing his throat when he goes down, as someone growls behind us and shakes the ground. The guys ram into the enemies with a squad of warriors, finishing the rogues. We nod to each other, some of the warriors going with me and Ruby as she still insists on coming along. I hand her a knife, and I grins a wolfish grin I never knew my sweet twin could produce.

But if Lucas kept on doing this, if he and this woman kept on testing Alpha Ray’s patience, I was scared I couldn’t stop this brewing war with Westridge against the Silver Blade men. “We’re not done yet.” Ruby hissed at me as she hooked her bag on her shoulder and rushed outside my office with swift, heavy steps. Abby followed her and told the guards to lead Ruby Morgan out of the building and out of the gates of the city to make sure she couldn’t enter Westridge again. [RUBY’s Point of View] I couldn’t believe how handsome and sexy the Westridge Alpha was in person. It only brought more fire of hatred in me against Sylvie Hall. It was in that second that I understood how Mandy Wallace turne
