She leaned forward and used one of her hands to apply pressure on the wound while using the other one to gently massage Lucas’s scalp as a means to divert his attention from the pain even if it was for a minute. Jaxon felt anger and a feeling he could not place not his hands on bubbling inside him and before he knew what was happening he walked up to where Lucas was seated and yanked Ruby up. She stumbled forward and fell into his arms, Jaxon steadied her and glared into her eyes. “What the fuck are you doing!” Jaxon whispered angrily.

Third person’s POV “Baby stop, you might fall.” Owen yells at Ruby who is running upstairs, he can read her thoughts so well, and he is already turned on. He tried so hard to stop himself when she was having her shower. She wanted him too, but was too tired. “Catch me if you can.” Ruby responds giggling. Damien and Rowan are the first to start the stairs, but Owen can't wait any longer, he teleports near Ruby and scoops her onto his arms.

Ruby glared at him with those peculiar dark-red eyes. She growled and tried to pull her hands free from Rion's hold, but he held her down firmly. "Look at me," Rion repeated. Ruby snarled at him savagely. She bared her teeth and bit his arm. Rion hissed in pain. He held both of Ruby's wrists in one hand and used the other to yank her hair back, so she released her teeth that were latching onto his arm.
