It would be badass. I spotted a glow. It wasn't an ordinary glow. It was similar to Jayel and Alex's but dimmer. Jayel's blended black and white glow was two times brighter than Alex's. How I knew that was beyond me. I didn't even recognize them before. But, the color of Alex's aura was dark pink with streaks of white. His glow was phenomenal but Jayel ranked over him, nonetheless. Which kind of scared me. Alex had the powers of a hundred men yet Jayel was way stronger still. If anything happened, he could take us all out with one of his badass moves.

“Me too.” A beat passed. Then Ruby gasped, her body arching with the rush of ancient magic. Her robe slipped to the ground as her bones cracked and reshaped.
