Darkness

Darkness

I threw on my leather jacket and a pair of boots. "Who's first?" Natalia stepped forward. "Alright." I took her hand. She nodded and we disappeared. The cold nothingness surrounded me. We popped back into existence. Hell was hot and humid. I could feel the damp air pressing against my skin. We stood before a black spire of dark obsidian. Veins of glowing gold fire laced the surface of the polished black stone. Natalia dropped my hand and led the way. The sharp spike drew tall into the dusky sky. As we drew deeper into the city, the spires grew taller.

DARKNESS

DARKNESS

We reach the stairs that lead to the lower floors of the mansion, the place where I live is a huge mansion with about 3 visible floors, made of tempered glass, it is really luxurious, elegant and minimalist to a certain extent, I am a simple guy but with good taste, it has everything a mansion should have, swimming pool, garage, kitchen, gym, recreation areas, it is a mansion and as ironic as it seems I like the light, at least here, even though I live in a world of darkness. Downstairs there are 5 more floors, all dedicated to our organization and it is our operations center, at first glance the mansion itself is my home, and as we descend I see several of my men go up or down, they all sto

Succumbing into Darkness

Succumbing into Darkness

They will be damned to stay on earth as beings that are very likely of a demon. “I'm ready to sacrifice everything for her.” -- “I’m back.” He said with a smile despite the heavy burns all over his body. “Sunny?” He searched the place with difficulty after no one answered his call, still wearing that smile. Finally, they can be together. He kept on searching until he reached her room, “S-sunny?” he stuttered after finding her significant other on the floor. He felt his whole system shutting down.

The Dragon's Stone

The Dragon's Stone

“We need to go back downstairs to the temple. There I can show you everything.” Tru nods, and I lead the way. We make it down to the temple. A dragon’s magic can only unlock it. I touch the stones, and an archway appears in the same glow as the lights. The stone still is present, but I can walk through it now that the archway appears. However, Tru won’t be able to unless I’m touching her. Looking at Tru, I can tell she’s amazed and terrified. “Take my hand.” I extend my hand out to her, but her mind is taking in her surroundings. Feeling pressured for time, I grab her and pull her through the doorway in the stones. Walking in, I pause. There in stone are another fifty dragons. I thought ther

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

THE REWRITE: Transmigrating Into Another World

He knew the path from the book: a narrow goat trail leading to a hidden cave overlooking the battlefield. He found it—a dark fissure in the cliffside, pulsing with a malevolent energy. Inside, on a crude stone altar, sat the artifact: a black cube of obsidian, veined with crimson light that throbbed like a diseased heart. He could hear the distant sounds of battle—the grunts of men, the sizzle of Keith’s fire magic, the unearthly shrieks of disintegrating ghouls. It wouldn't take them long. He had to move.

The Dark Chalices

The Dark Chalices

"Of course. You must be careful. They must be looking for the Grail of Immortality and Youth that disappeared a long time ago and I don't think they've ever performed a ritual with it. While they only have the chalice of flames." The chalice of Immortality, that's what was kept in the secret room. Chaz was right, those mystical grails were indeed the most sacred objects for the black magic world. Elgar and Kathleen began to prepare everything before heading to the witches' hideout. Kathleen is very good at making potions, and I didn't expect her to find such a deadly poison. I guess they really wanted to use their abilities to do good. "Do you trust them now?" I asked Alden as the two of the

Dark Moon

Dark Moon

I woke up feeling so uncomfortable and it took me a few moments to realise that I was locked up in the lowest dungeon. There was no window and no light. It reeked of mould and other unsightly things. I felt sick and wished that I had never left the packhouse that night. I tried to stand up from the floor but was pulled back by something which made me scream because I realised I was chained to the wall like an animal. The door clicked open and I blinked as light flooded the tiny dungeon.

We were all terrified. “But how did you manage to escape from death? We saw how your body crumbled into pieces,” Caya curiously asked out of astonishment. “Thanks to my brother, Lucreo. He let me borrow this stone,” Belphegor spilled, then, he showed to us a warped dark stone. My mouth went agape as I realized what kind of stone it is. That is an umbra stone.

Chosen By The Lycan King

I nodded and Adrian gave a tired laugh. “Guess that makes us allies now.” “Life-and-death allies,” I replied. I sighed and pointed towards the distant stone structure rising above the battlefield. “The Purification Altar,” I said. “That’s where the seal must be activated.” Zane nodded immediately. “Then we break through.” The Dark Leader’s expression changed as he heard us. “You think I’ll let you reach it?” he roared. Before he could even move, the ground shook, and a horrifying growl reverberated through the battlefield.

I am loving this story. Hooked! Please update soon. Jessica is a special wolf. Her real parents are both dead now. I hope they brutally killed Ralph for murdering his mate Cassandra and kidnapping Tessa. I’m glad Jessica is a powerful wolf. Hopefully Jess and Zane are second chance mates.

May I ask what is going on in your life, dear author, that has each chapter update so inconsistent and far between? I really enjoy this book, however, it does get frustrating having to wait for so long until I can see the next chapter. Really great book otherwise.

Claimed By My Alpha Bully

[DUNGEON - DIMLY LIT AND DANK CELL] The dungeon is a grim and shadowy place, the walls lined with cold, damp stones that seem to seep misery. Meagia was laying on the floor with dishevelled hair and eyes filled with desperation, slowly regaining consciousness on a cold, stone floor. Her eyes flutter open, adjusting to the dim light filtering in from a small, barred window high above.

I enjoy how the author portrays the female lead with a different persona. In werewolf novels, the female lead is typically innocent and powerless, but the author opted to create an unconventional FL character, someone bold and fearless. It's absolutely adorable!

Intriguing, I have read lots of wolf stories abd none has gotten my attention like this book has. It is funny and captivating, especially the "tasteless strawberry line in the book." I will keep reading, I recommend to everyone looking for something different ...
