Before Andreas could even sit up, Sam stirred, his amber eyes opening instantly, already laden with a predatory lucidity.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Sam’s voice came out as a low growl, the roughness of sleep mixed with the natural authority of his kind.
“Home, Sam. I have a life, a job, deadlines,” Andreas replied, trying to sound more confident than he felt. He tried to push Sam’s arm away, but it was like trying to move an iron bar.
