I am soulless, cruel, and have no heart. I do not feel anything when I take their souls. They deserve it as their souls are impure. These dirty humans have souls whereas, I, do not. I cannot contain my jealousy towards them as they can die as they please whereas, I, cannot. I was once a mere mortal who loved a Goddess but I was betrayed and turned into something beautiful but hideous for eternity as my soul left me and lie asleep for eternity somewhere in the dark abyss. My beauty is lethal as I can deceive my prey. I have lived far more than any human can apprehend and I cannot remember how it feels to be a human and this little girl, an innocent beauty, a mere mortal, I should loathe, take her soul, and leave her dead cold. Kinara harus menjalani hidupnya di Falseland, tempat asing yang penuh misteri dan keajaiban karena sebuah kesalahan fatal yang ia lakukan. Ia dikutuk menjadi setengah manusia setengah burung. Demi kembali menjadi manusia normal dan bisa hidup di dunia asalnya, ia harus melakukan misi penebusan dosa dengan melakukan banyak kebaikan agar bisa bertemu dengan Kinari. Mereka mendapat tugas yang sama, yaitu harus menemukan satu sama lain dan menarikan tarian kesetiaan di bawah pohon kalpataru dan disaksikan oleh seluruh penduduk Falseland. Perjalanan untuk menyelesaikan misi tidaklah mudah. Banyak rintangan yang dihadapi. Kinara dibantu oleh sahabat setianya yang bernama Rhara (berwujud setengah manusia setengah kelinci). Mereka berdua penuh optimis dan keberanian dalam menakhlukkan lawan-lawannya. Jika Kinara melakukan kebaikan, maka akan mendekatkan kepada Kinari. namun, kejahatan yang ia lakukan akan menjauhkannya dari Kinari dan membawanya ke Blackland (tempat di mana makhluk terkutuk sepenuhnya berubah menjadi binatang dan kehilangan semua sisi kemanusiaannya). Tantangan tidak berhenti sampai di situ. Sebab, Kinara adalah Si Terpilih. Artinya ia adalah sosok penentu keberhasilan bagi seluruh makhluk terkutuk yang sedang menjalani misi. Jika misinya berhasil maka semua makhluk bisa kembali ke wujud asli dan dunianya. Akankah Kinara menyelesaikan misinya? Atau justru terjebak dan memilih tinggal di Whiteland?

` It was a cool, breezy and stormy night. Rain came down in sheets, as a dark figure stood before a house. The house was pretty ordinary, white with blue shutters; it didn't have more than two bedrooms. It looked like a cozy little family home with flowers and shrubs lining the front lawn, and then the smell from the pellet stove smoke invaded his nostrils. He took a deep breath and pulled out an old, rusted compass from his black trench coat. It looked like it could have been from the 14th century, the small, brass disc was dented and the Victorian designs were faded. He studied it as it pointed east, towards the small house. He looked the house over carefully, looking for the best entrance, before proceeding towards the side to gaze into the window. Inside you can see the small kitchen; the brand new, all black appliances off set the linoleum floor. Cabinets filled almost every wall of the small space that made it look more crowded than it should have been. The kitchen opened to a larger room which seemed to be used as a living room and a dining room all at once. The whole house looked crowded, with the furniture in the living room all touching except for a small gap to walk through and the dining room was so close to the sofa, it could have been sitting on it. He stepped back into the shadows as he watched a young couple enter the kitchen. The wife was tall and slender, had strawberry blond hair formed around her face accenting her jaw-line and her deep blue eyes stopped your heart as you got lost in them. Her fair complexion was silky and complimented her soft face.
