Blackened blood, thick due to being partially frozen, begins leaking out and I wipe it up. It’s not fast enough! I drop the knife and, leaning forward, begin sucking the blood into my mouth before spitting it into a bowl. The venom burns the inside of my mouth, but I’m not bothered. “More goldenseal and charcoal.” I order, feeling my entire mouth begin to numb.

Blair again inquired me while she held me by my chin, staring at my face. "No," I cried to her. "Then why is there blood on your lips?" I jumped off the bed and I hurriedly went to her mirror I screamed seeing some of Kyle's bright red blood on my mouth. I wiped it off fast and I ran into her bathroom washing my mouth like crazy trying to get rid of any more blood of his I had missed cleansing.
