Sky could no longer hold back her curiosity. The captain smiled faintly. "Her name is Summer." Louis and Sky were wide-eyed. "Summer?" The captain curled up his lips. "Yes. Summer Harper. At first, I thought it was just a prank call. But after hearing the way she spoke and knowing her name, I believed the situation was serious. I suggest you contact her immediately. Music pulsed, and the air smelled like stale soda and adrenaline. Sky stepped in and immediately felt her blood kick up into something feral. “Alright,” she said, turning to Caleb and Charlie. “We’re doing this my way.” Charlie’s eyes scanned the room automatically, tracking exits, corners, elevated platforms, anything that could hide an enemy ten-year-old with vengeance in their heart.
