No one was able to be at peace, because whenever someone had a problem, they would confide to Sam and so now the pack is having trust issues among one another. His eyes blazed crimson like freshly spilt blood. “Yes,” I said. “You terrify me. Now would you please take me home? I never wanted to be here in the first place! I still refuse to believe any of this is happening. I wanna be a turtle and curl up in my shell and hide under a rock, millions of miles away from here, where the only strange things around me are fungus and slime mold. Because- because!-” Samael, bored, flicked out his ungodly long tongue suggestively.

It’s pointless, too, because Samael will remain optimistic. Weeks pass as Samael and I continue to rebuild his vehicle. However, lately, I’ve noticed that he’s been a bit distracted. Unfortunately, I discover why when there’s a loud knock on my apartment door in the middle of a dark and rainy night.
