Samantha Maddox Novels & Stories

And I—Samantha Stone, world-class assassin, prankster extraordinaire, proud commitment-phobe—had just bonded with the most off-limits wolf on the entire continent. I was so, so royally screwed. ARGHHH.

Soon, the line comes to an end and the only person left is a woman of her age, the very one Theo was staring at earlier. Or rather was still staring at. “Alpha, this is Samantha Andrews. She is one of our best trackers.” Nicholas introduces her. “Hello, Samantha.” Charlotte smiles at her, instantly liking the vibes coming off her. “Hello, Alpha. I’m so glad we finally found you.” Samantha’s voice is a bit deeper than she is used to hearing from females, though not deeper than hers. Her red eyes flash as she bows her head. “And I’m glad to meet you.” Charlotte wants to talk more to her, to get to know her but as of now, she has no idea what she should talk about.

Her voice was smooth, dripping with something I couldn’t quite place yet. I tilted my head, feigning curiosity. “That’s what they call me.” She chuckled, eyes scanning me from head to toe. “I’ve heard a lot about you.” I arched a brow. “Oh? Can’t say the same about you.” “Sam.” She extended a perfectly manicured hand, her nails painted deep red. “Samantha Brooks.” I didn’t shake her hand. Instead, I folded my arms across my chest, keeping my expression unreadable. “Cool. Should I be flattered you’ve heard about me, or should I be worried?”

Then she finished. "I said all of that to say this, Sam is a fighter, and she loves you. She may not have said it yet, but no one knows her any better than me, Drake. Trust me when I say, there are things she would never do without being in love. Would you like to know what it was? Samantha has only ever been with one man in her life, and that was Mack. She has slept with you, more than once. She wouldn't do that if she didn't love you. She just hasn't realize it yet. When she wakes up, you have to be the one to tell her what the doctor has said, and that you will never leave her and will help her get through this. No matter what."

RAFAEL ~ Something wasn't right with Sam. Three weeks after our rain-soaked camping trip, I still couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding something. Little things that most people wouldn't notice, but after nearly ten years of friendship, I noticed everything about Samantha Ellis. Like how she'd cancel plans at the last minute with vague excuses about 'not feeling well' or 'family stuff' Or how she'd sometimes disappear mid-conversation to take calls in private. Or the way May watched her constantly with that worried crease between her eyebrows.

Jake mumbled as Danika dragged me inside with her. “No wonder, you guys are close. He is a lot like you. He understands you. Now spill everything because I know that man is not gay and I can say that just by the number of times he looked at your cleavage.” She says as soon as we are out of earshot. I look at her for a second but she was very serious. She looked like she was capable of killing me if I lied to her. I breathe out knowing I have to tell her the story leaving out the spy-CIA-Jason Statham thing.

I tell her, bracing myself for the part that came next. "Even signing a contract with his partner, in return I had to be friends with his daughter", Camila's eyes still stared at me, waiting. How is she so invested in me tonight?. She's been invested in me a lot of times, but this one was different. And just staring back into her eyes and falling into her gaze, I felt a warm and fuzzy feeling all over my body. "Let me guess, you fell in love" Camila nods, "I remember her, Brooke Simmons, teen magazine's most beautiful asset" she says with an eye roll, whoa.

Samantha greeted, lifting up two of her fingers, the typical way of a sassy trendy girl. To Alex, five years was a short period of time for anyone to transform this much. Samantha was 18 years old when he last saw her. It was the day she left for England for college. Then she was thinner, a little bit shorter and absolutely chestless. But now! What's with this massive fruit she's bearing on her chest? His little Samantha had bloomed into a woman-and he wasn't ready for it.

Alex said, emphasizing the title and he chuckled when fire flashed in his friend's blue depths. Let Damien wonder what he was going to do in Ariel's room. Let Damien think about it all day long. Maybe it would get him to admit that he was a jealous territorial bastard when it came to the maid he so claimed he hated. Alex laughed at the thought. It would be a sight to see. Elle would most certainly lose her mind. "Beta Alex," a bright-eyed maid greeted, smiling and glancing at Alex underneath long, dark lashes. "Samantha," Alex gave a curt nod before continuing.

She wanted to run away, get out of his reach and presence but she couldn't even move, her chest felt heavy and it was suddenly hard to breathe… until Monse tapped her and she flinched in fear before she turned to look at her. "I've kept on calling your name, what were you thinking about?" Monse asked and Samantha swallowed before she shook her head "no it's fine, I'm fine… I'm great" she replied and Monse nodded "if you say so'' she said with a shrug and gestured toward her parents ``meet my mum and dad; Mr and Mrs Carlos, the Alpha and Luna of the PHOS PACK'' she introduced and Samantha stood up immediately before stretching her hand out to shake them both one after the other "nice to meet
