I looked at her, who was still crying. "Samantha, is this true?" I stammered, surprised. She cried again nodding. I suddenly screamed with joy and picked up Samantha. I spun her in the air. Alejandro was stunned by the sudden joy and shouting. Aviana was smiling as she sat on the sofa. I put Samantha down and wiped her tears and kissed her on the lips. We sat on the sofa again and read what was written in her check-up.

On the other side: Kate is sitting with Samantha, who is looking at something in her book. Kate was confused as she asked, "what are you doing, sister?". Samantha turned to look at her and said: "I was just looking for something related to my studies, you don't have to worry but you asked me about Martin's favorite thing right?".

She buried her face in her pillow and cried her eyes out. The innocent white pillow soaked her tears and the bed silently accommodated the crying woman.

She flipped the pages and sighed, almost five pages for just Jake's rules, she got tired and frustrated for just reading it. The door opened again and this time is Samantha. "Wow, your room is so big, at least we will live a good life here." Samantha exclaimed swinging her hands. "Yes." Leilah simply replied and kept the book by her side. "Why are you sad? You should be happy." Samantha said.

Samuel just sighed at his fate. He raised his hand and grabbed a book from the bookshelf behind him. “You know you should be the one reading to me. Because I've always been the one reading for you for ages.” Sameul said as he opened the book. “Nah I'm not listening. Start reading.” Tanya said with her eyes closed. “I will. Spoilt brat.” Samuel said and started reading. “Read a bit louder and stop murmuring. I can't hear you.” Tanya said.

RAFAEL ~ Something wasn't right with Sam. Three weeks after our rain-soaked camping trip, I still couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding something. Little things that most people wouldn't notice, but after nearly ten years of friendship, I noticed everything about Samantha Ellis. Like how she'd cancel plans at the last minute with vague excuses about 'not feeling well' or 'family stuff' Or how she'd sometimes disappear mid-conversation to take calls in private. Or the way May watched her constantly with that worried crease between her eyebrows.

Sammy promised to be in half an hour and rushed to the bus stop. The store greeted her with her favorite smell of new books. Sammy thought with regret that she hadn't been here for a long time, and she really liked to read. But after that ill-fated quest, thoughts and feelings did not allow me to be distracted by reading, and even during my illness, an attempt to pick up a book failed. Trying her best not to fall back into the abyss of thinking about Travis, Samantha went to her mother. Teresa smiled happily at her, but looked tired.

SAMANTHA I hadn’t even typed a reply when bam bam bam—loud, angry knocks rattled my front door. I froze. The knocking turned into pounding. Fist-to-wood, like someone was trying to come through it. “Sam!” he shouted. “Open the damn door. I know Liam’s there. I don’t care.” My heart climbed into my throat. I blinked. Once. Twice. This wasn’t happening. I checked my phone again. 1:17 AM.

Samantha was thrilled to hear the news and immediately made plans to visit her sister. When Samantha arrived at her sister's house, she was greeted with a warm hug and a big smile. Her sister seemed happy and healthy, and she was eager to show Samantha around the house. Samantha noticed that her sister had made some positive changes, like cleaning up the house and cooking healthy meals. Her sister also told her about the skills she had learned in the program, like budgeting and problem solving.

“Try it again,” I shake my head, but Samantha, always headstrong like me, swipes the screen and presses the call button. My eyes widen. She was laughing as I tried to grab the phone. I sighed in relief when she dropped the call, but before I could stop her, she made a real quick message and then sent it. She chuckled as she returned my smartphone to me. I open my inbox to read the message right away. ‘Thank you for The Dancing Umbrellas. It was interesting. I wish I knew the story. Hope to hear from you soon.’
