From that look alone, I knew that the moment I showed up at the flock house she was going to grill me for all of the information about Sarah that she could.
“Amelia, Marcus.” I dipped my head, placing my hand on Sarah’s lower back. “This is my girlfriend, Sarah.”
“Seems like she’s more than that.” Amelia’s reddish brown eyes bored into mine and I nodded, my eyes going to the floor away from Marcus’ steady gaze. I didn’t need to look at them to know that they were both studying Sarah now.
Amelia bounced on the balls of her feet, clapping her hands together. “Oh yay, you guys should come to the house so you can introduce her to everyone.”
