CHAPTER NINETY-FOUR Saturday afternoons had somehow become sacred. Not intentionally. Not because anyone had sat down and declared it so. It had simply happened over the years. Between work schedules, school activities, family obligations and life in general, Saturdays somehow became the one day where Stella refused to compromise. No matter how busy life became. No matter what happened. Saturday belonged to family. And Katelyn. Especially Katelyn. Eight years later, Stella still guarded that friendship fiercely.

SCARLETT'S POV. Saturday used to be my favourite day of the week but today, it so wasn't. Back then, Saturday's were special to me because not only did I get time to relax and unwind, it was actually the time I got to spend as much time as I wanted her with Kevin.

Author’s POV Saturday came with it's glory of freedom in the air that people can’t be more thankful of. Weekend had just started letting people live their life as they wanted. Some woke up late to accomplish their mission of compensating their unslept days with sleeping more on saturday. While some just woke up too early because they already made plans for the weekend that made them more excited than sleeping for some more hours would. And Maya wasn't in any of these categories because all she wants to do on saturday is, Nothing.

I’ve worked for every thread, every stitch, every design. Saturday matters. But I need a plan. Just in case.
