We are leaving.” He uttered and grabbed my wrist, pulling me up and I let go of the bowl of popcorn as he started pulling me away from the movie. “Still a scaredy cat, Raven.” Crowden teased. “Shut up, Crowden!” Raven shouted back as he continued to drag me closer to the stairs, him being careful with his steps and his head snapping at the sides as if being wary, cautious and looking for something, as if in a moment, something would appear and attack him.

He gritted his teeth, attempting a sarcastic wordplay, but I effortlessly outsmarted him, earning a smirk of victory. Finally, we arrived at Dark Groove, an ominous place with an intense aura. The vast land was scattered with large metal containers and tall trees with long branches. The scene was adorned with scattered leaves, painting an eerie picture. Summoning my werewolf powers, I let out a powerful roar, hoping to draw the attention of whatever lurked in the darkness. Bats hidden in the trees took flight in fear, their wings flapping noisily. Adam let out a sigh and joined in the humor, saying, “Well, that certainly got their attention.”

I can’t make out who he is through the rain and fog, but I can see he’s not alone. What is that next to him? The figure steps forward, though what I see doesn’t make anything clearer. Out of the cloudy sheath comes the body of a dear, but the head of a goat, with the wings of a bat. The gross disfiguration has us all distracted for a second and it’s a fatal mistake.
