, Anna heard a voice saying and she wondered who it was coming from. She heard a switch somewhere and the room was lit and she Gould see the faces. She did not need to be told who Scarface was as she could see it on his face. The scar on his face ran from his forehead down to his neck and she wondered who had left such a nasty mark. The rest of his face wasn't in good shape either. He had burns on his skin as if he had been in a fire. It was an ugly mess. His mouth was twisted to the side. She couldn't even bare looking at him, he sure looked scary.

Aurora “What an unpleasant surprise, Alpha Jaxon,” Ricky opened his mouth as he approached the border, slowly taking off his glasses. That was when I finally got a proper look at his face and immediately noticed the large scar running along the side of his eye. It wasn't some small injury that had faded with time. It was deep, ugly, and looked more like the mark left behind by a blade than a fist. The kind of scar that permanently altered someone's face. For a moment I found myself staring at it, wondering who had managed to leave something like that behind before Daniel casually answered the question I hadn't even asked yet.

I swallowed thickly and averted my gaze, feeling heat creep up my neck. I didn't know why I was blushing. Maybe it was the way he was looking at me now as though none of this was surprising. Axel, on the other hand… was impossible to ignore. Now that I was closer, I saw the scar running along the side of his face. It was faint but long, trailing just beneath his cheekbone. It made him look rugged in a handsome way. I licked my lower lips. “You’ve chosen to be our mate,” Alex said lightly, dragging my attention back, “but you’ll need to sign this.”

But a scar on the neck was so vague and common. A lot of Alpha’s acquired scars from battle, especially on the neck since it's a lethal weak spot for werewolves. She knew pointing him out would be just as hard as telling a tamaskan different from a wolf. But she had to find him. She couldn't abort this part of the mission no matter how bad she wanted to. According to the goddess, this alpha was the only one who could save her from herself. She got a glimpse of it 2 nights ago. It felt like she was going to die when the heat spread all throughout her.

Who's the Scarface now? Let me give you one more scar then." A fierce light flashed in Scarface's eyes, and he lifted the dagger to mark Carra's face.

The scar starts at his hairline and runs down through his eye to his chin. It does make him appear more rugged and less epicene. He is a gorgeous man with white hair, full bow-shaped lips, a boyish face, and a cut physique. His personality, however, is artic and frightening.

I murmur. I tear my gaze away and look down. Honestly, I’m not sure how I should feel. I'm confused. I don’t want to offend him, but I don’t know if it’s all right to look at his face. His face... It has severe burn scars. A portion of the right side has irregular fibrous tissues. It seems to have been sliced several times. The cuts go from his forehead down to his right cheek. He doesn't even have an eyebrow there; it’s as if there's no more flesh but only dead skin. I remember him telling me about the acid poured on his face.

Alexia didn't believe him as she hadn't seen anyone unafraid so far. Woody looked straight ahead and said calmly, "Either they've been beaten into submission by me or they're dead." Alexia's eyes widened in shock, her expression momentarily frozen. Meanwhile, inside one of the lower cells, a group of people was gathered around a tall, dark-skinned middle-aged man. His face was marred by over a dozen scars, the most prominent one stretching from the corner of his eye down to his chin, giving him a ferociously menacing appearance.

Bennett “Seriously?” I ask with feigned surprise. “Seriously. And it’s pretty big.” He emphasizes the size of his scar. “And, can I see it?” It’s not a strange request. The truth is, maybe. I said maybe, if seeing his scar makes me think my marks are inferior and maybe changes something inside me. “Of course.” Alex seems proud of his mark as he promptly lifts his shirt to reveal a straight scar that goes from his chest down to a tiny part of his abdomen. “My mom told me it’s here to remind me of life.”
