Zosha let out another shriek, this time filled with even more panic and pain. “No Zosha!” Azum panicked. “Concentrate on yourself, little one—” “Zosha is scared!” she cried before taking her cat form and zoomed right out of the window.

“You… when did you come here?” “Are you nervous?” Under his cloak, Dark Shura’s eyes were gleaming with a kind of cold light. It made Zeke tremble with fear and caused his heart to jerk ferociously. Immediately after, he forcibly suppressed the panic he felt deep down. Forcing a hideous smile onto his face, Zeke said, “You scared me. With the way you appeared suddenly and knocked out the people around me, you’re like a ghost. I’m okay now, I’ve calmed down.”

I exclaimed, rushing in just enough time to catch her as the chair clattered to the ground. “Oh god!” Riko exclaimed, arms flinging around me, holding me in a vice grip. My heart was ready to jump out of my chest. She was shaking like a leaf in my arms. She was so scared. “Please never do that again, cupcake.” I sighed carefully, putting her down. With her safely on two feet, I reached and turned off the alarm. I sighed as the loud sound finally faded out, and I could even hear myself think.

Big footsteps getting near. "Fuwa Fuwa!" Roya yelled, sounds like panic in its voice. Before Mizuko could run away, a big saber-tooth appeared right in front of her eyes. Her soft-looking pale pink eyes widened as her body froze, she couldn't run anymore. Her visions were blurry to black and her heart beat faster and then she fainted. Before Mizuko could hit the ground, Kenshi hopped off of Keisuke and rush to catch her. With Mizuko in his arms, he smiled.

The chirps of bird beasts flying over their heads should’ve broken the silence that appeared when they left the park, but the atmosphere between them is just too thick for anything to pierce through. The flickering torchlight casts eerie shadows on his face, highlighting the lines of worry etched upon it. His eyes darted around the room, searching for a chance to escape.

Neo’s POV Sitting at my desk, my mind is consumed by the image of Skyler, completely engulfed in those Scarabs she fondly referred to. It's astonishing how she fearlessly caressed them, treating them as harmless creatures, before they obediently scurried away from her and disappeared into the earth. It's as if they hold no threat, no potential for danger or death. This scene continues to play in my mind, leaving me both fascinated and perplexed by Skyler's unwavering trust in these seemingly treacherous insects.
