Mortals were so easily swayed by sentiment and although it would have thrilled her to have him dead, it was oddly satisfying to know that there would be pain for her enemies.

He had no idea where the boy had gotten the razor he was now holding in his hands. He looked at it, as if it would speak and tell him its secrets.
