I don’t want to come back down to Earth. I go from one song to another, looking for any excuse to scream out my emotions to a cruel world. I sing for Mama, for Carolanne, and for myself. I sing for all the confusion and pain that cloud my heart. I sing for Camila being a selfish person. I sing for my deepest fears in life and my insecurities.

On the screen behind me, an image blooms: a close‑up of an old contract, my name tiny at the bottom, buried in paragraphs of legalese. Every word I used to be afraid to look at. “I was price tags on skin, I was part of the plan,” I sing. Another image: a blurred shot from years ago—me at nineteen, walking into a label building with my first manager, eyes wide, shoulders hunched. Someone in the front row claps a hand over their mouth. “I thought being owned was the same as being safe,” I go on, the familiar lyrics wrapping around my ribs. “Thought a lock and a cage was just another kind of faith…”

I was afraid of losing myself again. Afraid I would make one misstep and never find my way back to who I once was– if I lost myself. If I lost myself forever. My heart pounded wildly against my chest as my breathing became irregular. I wanted nothing more than to scream. But I held it inside, refusing to release my feelings into the open air. I was scared. So scared that I couldn't bring myself to even admit it to myself.

The way they touch my skin, I'm scared! "PLEASE STOP TOUCHING ME!" I shouted and burst into tears. The room became silent. And all I can hear is my voice. Rossweisse hugged me even more. My hands are shaky. I'm so scared. I hate men. I do really, really hate them. But I only choose those I can trust. All of them... I hate them.

Finally, sixteen weeks, I can see what I'm having. Soul is sat by my side, reading a book. He won't let me go anywhere alone! I feel so claustrophobic! I want to scream! That reminds me of one of my favourite songs. Read All About It by Emeli Sande. 'I wanna sing, I wanna shout, I wanna scream till the words dry out...' It actually seems to help me right now when I listen to the lyrics. Can I beat him? Can I take control of my life? I'm going to do something!

I sing as loud as I can to another one of my favorite songs; it is scary how I know every word of it. I close my eyes; I am enjoying the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. The sound of my voice echoing across the fields. Then I open my eyes; I am scared out of my mind by someone standing over me. "Where did you come from?! You should not creep up on people!"
