Do You Love Me, Uncle?

Do You Love Me, Uncle?

Of course, Kenji would send Inoue. "Great. I’m pleased doing business with you." "My pleasure," Kenji answered flatly and ended the call. Kenji sighed, feeling a little more relieved. His father would then lower his guard even further. *Shinigami: Grim reaper or death spirit, according to Japanese belief.a

The Miracle Doctor Won’t Be A Kept Man

She laid both of them on the bed and covered them with a blanket, sitting at the bedside, unsure of their fate. Kiran appeared to be in a deep sleep, dreaming of Lady Meiji. In his dream, she was a cheerful and innocent little girl. The scenes were beautiful but quickly turned somber as Lady Meiji became mournful. He saw her beloved man die in battle, leaving her in endless pain and solitude at home. Finally, he witnessed Lady Meiji die alone, her body decomposing into bones and disappearing. The Adventures of the Red-Haired Heroine

The Adventures of the Red-Haired Heroine

I wasn’t sure if it was because of his silly face or it was my body’s post-response to all the tears that I’ve shed. “Have you ever tried wishing for a new life?” His voice became serious and he gave out a warm yet dodgy smile. “You know, Japanese and Korean comics have been too popular as of the moment because of its reincarnation or transmigration stories. Have you ever wished to experience the same thing?” Scenes from the stories that I have read flowed in my mind smoothly, it was as if someone intended that I remember it. In a slow manner, I nodded at him. “Well, I’ll lie if I say I didn’t. But I know it was just a fleeting dream.” I faced the window—silently asking to end our conversati

For bitter or worse

For bitter or worse

It’s weird, it’s like she took the darkness with her. Emerson and Brjent stare openly at me, Farkas seems just as blown away as I am by the strangeness of it all. “Who was that?” He asks no one in particular. “That was Nanako Jimmu, youngest daughter to the first emperor of Japan and a very deadly member from the Band of Blood. This changes the entire situation Santiago, this isn’t good, not at all.” Emerson says breathless.

Falling for Sakura

Falling for Sakura

Michael said, “Sakura told me we could play hide-and-seek, or we could tell scary stories.” Akira thought about it for a moment and then said, “You know what? How about we freshen up and change into our pajamas and then meet up in my room. Then we can tell each other scary stories. I know a lot of very scary Japanese ones.” Michael looked excited. “Really? Awesome.” Akira turned to Sakura and asked, “How about it?” Sakura nodded. “Sure, that sounds fun.” She turned to ask Mary and Katherine. “How about you two?”

The Race Against Death's Door

The Race Against Death's Door

The moon shines fully, illuminating the darkness outside and providing a glint of light to Svetlana’s eyes as she stared up at it while she sat on a bench with Ahrio next to her. “There’s a legend in Southeast Asian countries that whenever it’s the full moon, ghosts, monsters and other scary supernatural beings appear and roam the world of the living. Do you know that?” Svetlana shared one of those horror stories she had heard from her childhood. Smiling, she glanced at Ahrio and caught him just staring at her face like he’s engrossed about everything about her. “Really? Do those supernatural beings include goddesses? Coz I’m definitely seeing one right now.”

Terrifying

Terrifying

Jack gripped Anne's chin so tightly that the girl winced in pain and burst into tears, "Now go back to the banquet hall and fulfill your agreement!" Jack signaled with his expression for Anne to follow him back to the banquet hall. Anne helplessly obeyed her best friend's wishes. "Wipe your tears!" Jack ordered. Anne quickly wiped away her tears. Anne was surprised when all the guests had consumed almost half of the human heads before them. The pungent fishy odor didn't seem like much of a nuisance to them and they were used to it. Some of them ate with their mouths covered in blood. Anne and Jack returned to their seats.

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

The World isn't as Ugly nor Beautiful as You Think

" Alfi exclaimed. I get irritated and pushing Alfi”s forehead with my index finger. "Hey, you little scum! Do you think I write a mere pure comedy story?! A story that focuses on 1 aspect won”t do any good! A story like Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso which has a sad story has a good comedy aspect to make people enjoy the story! And what do you mean by inferior story anyway? Your story is lower than this one! A Nijikon who doesn’t care about his life and he is a weirdo and perv? Hah! Don”t make me laugh!" I exclaimed irritated.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Seeing that, the old man then got up to start looking for the book that contained information about the Northbay Sea. After a while, Gerald couldn’t help but feel bored. Staring at the fire before him, he was suddenly reminded of the old man’s ability to conjure fire out of thin air. Since Jobson could do the same, Gerald was prompted to ask, “Say, senior? Do you know anything about ninjas?” “No idea what they are,” replied the old man as he picked another dusty book up before starting to flip through it. “I see… Well, back when I was in Japan, I met an elder who was capable of summoning fire out of thin air, just like you,” said Gerald.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Beast’s Origins

Beast’s Origins

“What the fuck?” “I don’t like this, something is watching us!” Drago speaks. “What is it?” I asked. “I don’t know but there are legends of Kappa out here!” “Kappa?” “River demons of Japanese folklore.” “I’m starting to think it’s something else, it’s not evil but it’s certainly alarming when you can’t see it but it can see you.” “We should head back to our Ember.” “HEY DAMIAN!” I yelled and turned to see Ember and Binx standing beside me.
