He had an eery smile on his scarred face Emily fought the urge to shudder in disgust and apparently fear . All her earlier bravado had flew out of the window .

In no time, I wrap my arms around her tightly, pressing my forehead against hers as she darts her eyes down. "I'm fine. I'm fine", she rants, her voice shaking. "I know", I kiss her forehead and don't say anything for a while, just hear her breathing heavily. We both know what's going on. And I remember what Emily told me. The scar is never going to fade away. It'll always be there. "Wanna talk about it?" I ask, mouthing into her hair. "Not exactly", she mumbles. "I just don't know why I keep recalling that. It's been almost eleven years. Yet!"
