His voice was low, dangerous. “I saw them.” Aleron swallowed. “Ronan… whoever did that to her…” Ronan shook his head slowly. “I swear on the Moon Goddess… they’ll pay.” A soft voice interrupted them. “Don’t fight… please.”

In their defence I would have done the exact same. That’s exactly what that scar means it’s why you should give up. You were meant to die when they used you. My eyes sting as tears and sweat enter them, I should give up. It would be better for everyone if I just stopped trying. Is that what I should do? Give up? Like a coward?

Right after the words left Vanessa's mouth, Scott shoved her hard and snapped, "What nonsense are you talking about?" Caught off guard, Vanessa stumbled backward and scraped her arm against the edge of a cheap table, leaving a bloody gash. I panickedly lunged forward to catch her, but my hands passed straight through her body. I still wasn't used to being dead, even after two years. He has a scar running down from his brow, right through his left eye and down his cheek. Ending just a few inches on top of his mouth. With that scar he looks like the character Scar from the lion king. He looks pretty scary. He smiles at me which takes away a bit of the scariness. At least he has a good set of white teeth and his smile is warm.
