'' Horatio turned back to Scarlet. ''No.'' ''Then when is her blood on this?'' He asked. Scarlet glanced at the ugly maid. "Why did you lie and say you saw me?" Scarlet questioned. "I'm talking to you!" Scarlet yelled when Tiffany didn't reply. ***** "Hi, there kitty." Lizzy smiled, picking up April by the skin of her neck. April hissed and clawed her arms. "You rotten little fleabag." Lizzy threw the cat into a nearby wall, then sent blasts of black energy balls at the cat.

"Yeah, right! Don't make me laugh! You couldn't defeat me, even on your best day!" Lacey ran outside, letting the door fall closed behind her. Then she sank her teeth into the scruff of Scar's neck and threw her down the stairs, biting off a hunk of fur in the process. Lacey's eyes flared as she spit out the fur and looked into Scar's eyes. "Let's dance." Scar smirked, blood running down the back of her neck as she walked slowly up the stairs. "I thought you'd never ask." Scar lunged toward her, but Lacey knocked her back. She had the high ground and she was going to defend it.

He was desperate to touch her soft skin, and the screams distracted him. Hearing those screams, he slammed the door open and came out hurriedly, fuming angrily. And the black cat sat on him.

“Get off my face, don’t call me Brittany, my name is Tiffany, co…” A loud growl erupted the air, and before I knew it, I pinned her back against the wall, I grabbed her jawbone and then my face inches closer, I hated it when she referred to me as a scary cat, calling me a coward is the same as referring to me as a scary cat.

The old lady was on the other side and we moved forward. “I’m not scared, but since my kitten wants to play it like that, I will be happy to indulge her.” My interest was immediately piqued. “Ooh, we’re playing a game. Go on. I’m all ears.” “You pick one place we can go to and I will pick one. The scared kitten is the loser.” I laughed and shook my head. “Oh, Mr. Wright. You are so on…”

Scratchy appeared from the kitchen, fur standing on end, hissing at this intruder who reeked of violence. "I'll tell your precious Thane exactly what kind of damaged goods he's sleeping with," Owen continued, methodically knocking over my plants. "About the foster kid who seduced her way into decent families, only to cry abuse when things got tough." "That's not—" "Who's going to believe you?" He kicked Scratchy when the cat tried to swipe at him. The small body hit the wall with a sickening thud. "No!" I threw myself between them as Owen raised his foot again, taking the blow to my ribs instead.

I embraced it, letting it fuel my actions and guide my words. “I want to know why you brought me here, Scar,” I said calmly, coldly. “You must be enjoying this little game you’re playing. The game where you treat me as an object of your obsession for a few days, kiss me, touch me, and then throw me away when you get bored with me? Or maybe, perhaps the game is over now, and you’ve decided to kill me. You don’t need me anymore, do you? You’ve gotten what you wanted from me, and now you’re bored..."

"Cat scratch fever is no joke." The corner of his mouth curved into a heart-stopping smile. He straightened his arm out, emphasizing that I didn't need to worry. "Don't worry about me." I tilted my head to the side, a question falling passed my lips. "If you heal that fast, why do you have so many scars?" Well, that felt insensitive to say out loud, but Kit didn't seem remotely bothered by it. "My scars are from wounds that would have killed me if I was human."

A loud hiss escaped her lips as her torchlight flashed on a black innocent cat. “It’s just a cat,” she glanced at her colleague with relief. “I don’t think so,” her colleague glanced at her with fear in his eyes. Before he could say, “It’s not just a cat,” the cat pouched on him and scratched his eyes with its claws.
