“Scarlett… come here… come…” Scarlett’s body went cold, frozen in place. She blinked. The faceless girl vanished. And in her place appeared a crowd of grotesque men—laughing, grinning, and horrifying. These ones had faces—but the kind that haunt nightmares. Their skin was crawling with worms. Pus oozed from open sores. It was like something out of a horror movie. Scarlett couldn’t take it. She screamed and turned to run. Her limbs felt like jelly, but she pushed through, running as fast as she could.

A horrific sight shows before her sight as the tattoo guy who was full of flesh suddenly turn dry like a long dead animal in the hands of the big monster hanging him up in the air. Shaina is not sure whether it is her lack of strength that made her not to scream out her fear or stop her from falling to death right now but she just widen her eyes and look on in horror at the scene. The other guy is also petrified and in fright try to make a run to the car but before he could reach the car, the monster fast speed over to him and broke his neck right in front of Shaina's face. My sharp gaze swept over every one of them. Adam's face drained of color, and panic flashed in his eyes. Zoe's smile froze, and the phone in her hand slipped, hitting the floor with a loud clang. Anna instinctively staggered backward. The other coworkers lowered their heads, too guilty to meet my eyes. "What does she mean? Was this accident a setup?" "That's terrifying. Is this some kind of horror workplace story?" The murmurs around us grew louder. The police sensed something was wrong and turned to me with grave expressions. "Miss, what do you mean by that? Please explain yourself clearly."

Among the five, there was a couple, a pair that was more than just friends, and one that was single. At first, Stella thought that it was always like this. The movie had built a scary vibe at the beginning, and the gatekeeper of the old mansion told them not to go out at night in a frightening way. However, as characters in horror movies, they would always refuse to listen to warnings. When the girl who had a boyfriend took a bath at night and found someone peeping, she put on her clothes and went out with a flashlight to catch the culprit. She chased the culprit to the ancestral hall where the statues of ghosts and Gods were enshrined, which looked very scary.

But soon, she would understand the consequences of being miserly. One day, while Greta was mocking me as usual, Hilda gleefully watched on. She walked into the living room with a glass of water to keep her throat hydrated. However, her movements were cautious, and she shuffled around nervously. As she was about to sit down, I suddenly shouted, "Ah!" Startled, she plopped down onto the chair, and there was a loud popping sound. Hilda let out an ear-piercing scream. Trembling, she glanced downward and saw that her pants were completely soaked. Her eyes rolled back into her head, and she fainted on the spot.

I apologize that this book is really short with less than 30k words in all. I plan to edit it at some point and make it better. I figured that a really long Horror book might be less interesting and would just seem drawn out. I've not read a lot of them but I watch horror movies so I wrote this like I would picture an Horror movie. I appreciate all those who stuck with me and read Reincarnation regardless. Thank you all.
