“Oh, so you won’t come out? Fine. Then I’ll smash all your d*mn flowers!” He stormed forward and stomped the flowers into pieces. At that moment, I suddenly remembered something Lucas once told me. In horror games, players who refused to participate usually died horribly. Back then, I thought he was just making up stories, but it seemed like maybe I really should’ve believed him. “Sir, wait, don’t–” Before I could finish my sentence, the crushed flowers suddenly regenerated. On top of that, they grew larger and larger until the enormous petals swallowed the man whole. A scream rang out, and then silence fell. All that remained on the ground were two severed limbs and a pool of blood.

Seeing this, Kyle reached for the folder, so I could only blurt out in a panic, "I… I just came to borrow some money!" I looked up at him, eyes red-rimmed. "But I saw you before I borrowed anything… Please don't tell Mable. She'll worry!" Kyle looked at me like I was an idiot, while his inner voice mocked me relentlessly. "She wants to borrow from loan sharks for those three con artists? Does she have a saint complex, or is she just plain stupid?" We stared at each other in silence for a long moment before I stood up and held out my hand.

The text under the image scrolled like captions: ROUND 3: CARNIVAL. AUTHOR STRAIN: MODERATE. PLAYER LOSS: ACCEPTABLE. I snapped the book shut. The image folded in on itself and vanished. “These are… logs,” I said. “Narratives, the way *it* tells them.” “Correction,” SML said, pulling a volume labeled GAME CITY – MINI-GAMES from the shelf and flipping it open. “It’s fanfic. Bad fanfic. Look at this.” We leaned in.

I expected him to create a scene, to tell the whole crowd about how I was just under him last night, but then he did what I did not expect at all. He smirked. A slow and cruel one. One that speaks to me that he was enjoying my fear, that he was in fact savouring it. Then lazily and somewhat deliberately, he mouthed the words, “Surprise, surprise, Mrs Moreti.”

Making everyone scream in hysterics instantly. The music suddenly stopped. Replaced with uncontrollable chaos and screaming. Jack stopped his guitar playing. He came to the front of the stage and smiled horribly. Jack took out a knife from the pocket he had prepared earlier. He slit his own throat until blood gushed from his neck with an expressionless face.

I have read a lot of novels where highschool student trys to play a game at a party but disaster always happen after that. I won't be a part of this game, i rather watch and entertain myself. I saw Kelly smiling already... "Is it truth or dare?" Kelly asked the girl "No! Is a new game...is called paper spreading...we use to play the game a lot in my former school. Don't worry; it will be fun." She said and smiled "Then let's play the game, the guy i saw her kissing earlier spoke. " who is in? She asked...don't worry about the rules and how the game is being done; I will explain everything. " she added

She ogled at me angrily as tears threatened to dropped down her soft cheek. "Lov–" She hanged up her hand towards me and rushed back to her room. ~~~~ How are you viewing "nightmares" How is this going to end? 😶😶😶😶 ©Lharry's pen

It was a dizzying, recursive loop of me—hundreds of versions of myself, receding into a vanishing point of silver and light. I was obsessed. I would spend hours standing there, fascinated by the way my own image would get smaller and darker with every iteration. I called it "The Infinite Room." It was my favorite game. I would make faces, wave my hands, and watch as my reflections followed suit, just a fraction of a second behind. It was a plaything, a toy made of light and silvering. Until the Tuesday in November.

I said, feigning innocence. I glanced around after speaking. It was true. There wasn't a single living person in sight, but ghosts were everywhere. "This place is cursed!" Charlotte snapped. "I can't even stop. The moment I even think about it, it feels like needles are piercing my hands." Even as she spoke, her hands kept moving. Fear flickered across her face at the scene before her. The terror in her eyes was truly a rare sight to behold. "Is this your doing? Did you come up with all these tricks to scare me? You just want revenge for all the times I picked on you at school, don't you?"

"The rules are simple; Don't get found, and you won't die." My fingers trembled slightly. I swallowed hard, trying to push the fear away, but it resurfaced almost instantaneously. "Medusa turns players to stone with eye contact." "The Reaper harvest souls upon contact with his soul cutter." "Dracula may choose to kill or turn players into thralls, but who are we kidding, he would probably kill you all." Panic exploded in my chest. "No… no… this is an impossible situation!" "I'm dead! We're all dead!"
