In 1983 a Mrs Carson of New York was laid out in our coffin, presumed dead of hear disease. As mourners watched, she suddenly sat up, alive as you or I. Unfortunately her daughter dropped dead of fright on the spot. I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. Gamma Axel responded, “How about scared? I think the big, tough, warrior needs to have a healthy dose of fear.” I looked into his mind further to find his fears. I nearly laughed out loud when I found that he’s afraid of clowns! The huge, self-absorbed, werewolf is afraid of clowns. I suggested, to his mind, that the next person to approach him would be a clown. I smiled at Gamma Axel, “Done.” I started to stand up, but Gamma Axel asked, “When will it happen?” I chuckled, “He’s terrified of clowns. The next person to approach will look like a clown to him.”

As the stories got scarier, I noticed a few of the younger pack members huddling closer to their parents, seeking comfort and reassurance. Soon, it was my turn to share a story. Feeling the weight of the moment, I cleared my throat and began my tale. "In a small village, there was a haunted mansion. It was said that the spirit of a vengeful witch roamed the halls, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter her domain..." I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.

She looked at the others who were keeping quiet and biting their lip in a nervous way . " Pffft.....Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ! This is a good joke but now it should stop . He he he ! For a minute you gave me a fright . He.......This guy in front of me , is the president of this company........He he he ! The company I just signed the contract to work with....This is just too weird of a coincidence . " said Claire . Emma , Erik , and Nolan couldn't even bring themselves to smile cause Edward's scary smile was pressuring them so much that their faces were going pale . Edward looked at Claire with a serious expression .

It was as though we’d shut off the outside world – even though I could hear screeching laughter and muffled swearing all around us in the maze as people flooded in. We made it through the deadly circus, which was filled with clowns – the same clowns who’d been stood with us before the start of the event, though they suddenly seemed much scarier, more menacing, as we tiptoed through their section of the maze. They performed gruesome tricks, and I held Skye close as we passed.

A mad laughter that echoed in every corner. Megha screamed. The upside-down man detached himself from the wall— Dropped to the floor. No sound of breaking bones. He rose slowly. Neck twisted sideways. Fingers long. Unnaturally long. Not human. He moved toward us. We pulled at the door. The lock wasn’t outside. It was inside. Placed by something unseen. Scratches deepened. As if hundreds of hands were clawing the walls. He came closer. Fingers trembling in the air, reaching for our faces—

When the demonic spiders dispersed, they saw his bare skeleton. “Ahh!!!” Clara’s mother screamed fearfully. Her feet trembled violently, and she nearly peed herself. Clara and her father weren’t in any better shape. The demonic spiders were attracted by the screams, instantly jumping up to pounce at the three of them. “Argh!” “We’re done for!”

Clara let the old woman hold her hand and she stared straight into her pearlescent eyes. Then the woman’s body started to shake not from cold but from fear—intense horror she had never imagined to feel. That was when Clara discovered a new definition of scary in her vocabulary. Scary was looking in the woman’s eyes and not liking what she would see. Blood. An unknown place bathed in red. Fire. People screamed in agony. Their screams for help were like a tight vice around the heart. Destruction. Nothing else was left. Life slowly left the once lively and flourishing paradise. Death. The end that no one would ever ask for. Clara pulled her hand away when she felt the woman’s tight grip on her.

Adelaide announced as she gestured to Klara to sit. “Tell me,” Adelaide announced, Klara blinked unsure what she meant, “What scares you?” Klara looked down. “The more you tell us, the more we can help. I know I kept a secret for too long, and despite what I thought, telling it made everything better.” Klara chewed on her lip, but she did want to admit things, she wanted to offload. For some reason Klara felt like Adelaide had experienced something similar even though she couldn’t have… she’s a princess and her family loved her.

Claire said winking at me. I knew what she meant about that. She was indirectly referring to Knox. I cursed silently at her for putting that image in my head. With the determination to make sure I cleared my brain of every memory of that day, I inserted The conjuring. I saw Claire get frightened at the name written on the screen and I smiled. Perfect. It’s game on. I was right about Claire not being able to ever stomach horror movies. She would shriek and scream loudly whenever a spooky scene came. I didn’t stop at making fun of her and scaring her when she’s focused on the screen.
