But now, she’s regretting her decisions. “I don’t think my body could handle it Cai.” Her body is still sore from travelling back and forth for her orphanage work. But Cai is not listening. He is too mesmerized with the rides and stuff. They are at a place they refer to as the ‘amusement park’. “But this thing is not amusing at all.” Cassey’s eyes are nervous seeing people in such scary rides. “They are almost flying and ackkk…! That scared me, that’s fast and scary!”

Meanwhile, others stays in facilities with AC, just like Adira and Chadwick. Because they did not want to go on the rides under the scorching sun of afternoon, they decided to go inside the horror house. “Do not scream”, that is the name of the house, which is famous for any horror enthusiast. It is one of the scariest horror houses that anyone can find in an amusement park. Those who took the challenge of testing their courage have failed. In this horror house, all you must do is to prevent yourself from screaming until you arrive at the exit. If you succeeded, then you’ll get a prize.

“This is creepy, but at least we aren’t doing cardio.” I rolled my eyes and said, “You are safe with me. You’ll see in a minute.” When we had reached the spot, I sent a text to the employee, and they turned on all the lights of the surrounding rides, making us and the entire place lit up. “Oh my… God,” Summer gasped, covering her mouth as she looked around, turning in circles as she looked at all the rides. Carousel, bumper cars, ferris wheel, mechanical bull, rollercoaster, and many more. “This is insane, Damon!”

It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen in my life. "Why didn't you tell me you are taking me to the disneyland?" I asked..looking at him. He didn't say anything and walked..ignoring me. I was shocked..keeping my hands around my waist..I followed him inside. The disneyland looks like, the same I thought and read in those books. It has a same feeling like, I was a princess of this beautiful castle and someone caged me inside..just like a Cinderella..Although my story is quite similar to her's but the man standing beside me is not a prince.. but a devil,

I looked at her and saw that she was covering her face "Ahh! Save me Fayth . Elsa is shooting icicles at me . " I snorted . "We should get you some water fast. You are getting delusional. Though it's fun seeing u drunk, you are high maintenance and right now I don't have enough energy to keep up with you." I grabbed Scar's hand and pulled her up to her feet , She was still covering her face. Who knew that a 17 year-old Scarlet would be scared of the wrath of an ancient Disney princess.

I intone, and she nods slowly. "Yeah, it happens in October for Halloween. You go to the theme park at night and ride roller coasters and drink beer, go through haunted houses. There are these actors that would jump out and scare you." I watch her with a smile as she enthusiastically explains that we got so drunk on beer we both threw up. "That was such a fun night." "It sounds like it," I reply and briefly wonder how this girl got me to do these things I would never dream of doing ever—riding roller coasters while drunk? Haunted houses? I would never be caught dead doing any of these things, so why did I do it with her?

I collected the can of energy drink from him and sat on the bench close to us. He chuckled, shook his head, and came to join me. "Did you enjoy the rides?" He asked, glancing at my face. I gulped the drink at a go, still trying to make my breath balance. I had played with all my energy, forgetting I was now an adult. "Yeah! It's so much fun," I revealed, smiling. "Do you want to do something else?" He asked. I scrutinized the amusement park with my eyes and they fell on the inscription "Ghost House" . I have seen it in movies and I knew how scary it was but my curiosity won over me.

She was all over the place, throwing belittling insults at everyone that she could and surging laughter from the crowd. They bought some snacks and milk, and even tried out a few rides, and it was so surprising that Harry and Leo loved the rides, but Eric found them scary and nauseous. “We are never getting on that again”, Eric said as they stepped out of the pirate ship, while Harry and Leo laughed hard at him. “It wasn't even that scary”, Harry said, holding Leo who just wouldn't stop jumping up and down. “What did you say?” Eric interjected, “I literally thought I was going to fall off of that”.

As she talks, my eyes skip down the list. "I think we should shop for my mom's dress first. We'll ask for it to be delivered to the pack. Then we'll shop for the stuff we'll take to the shelter. When we finish at the shelter, we can either explore the city and take a billion photos of ourselves or we can go to Disneyland and ride a scary roller coaster..." "Disneyland! Definitely Disneyland!" I cut her short out of excitement. "I'll be thrilled to ride in the scary roller coaster."

It wasn’t the side she knew of her. “Nope.” Layla was quick to deny. “Some random stories aren’t scary. But…” She paused to take a look at their faces making sure she had successfully grabbed their attention. “What if those stories are near you?” she asked, sending a shiver down to their back with her low, eerie voice.
