Rage flashed on her face and she shook her head. “I’m going to figure this out and I’ll tell you what I find. But I had to talk about it and you’re the only one I know who won’t decide that I’ve lost my mind. So I’m sorry I’m throwing this on you, but…” She stopped pacing again and turned to face me. “It’s real, Cara. You’re real. These people are real. I don’t know what they do, whether they’re good, bad, or otherwise. There’s a lot of scared people out there. If you want, I can send you the links. But I have to warn you, this isn’t the only stuff on these sites. Some of the other stuff…”

“Do you think it’s haunted?” My breath sticks in my chest at her words. Before I can say anything, Jack laughs. “Don’t be stupid. Of course it isn’t haunted.” “Some people think it is,” I counter. “There have always been stories about this place, about the swamp.” The woman pauses as an uneasy shadow flickers across her delicate features. “What kind of stories?” she presses. Jack once again cuts me off. “Who gives a shit?” he chuckles. “Ghosts, witches, werewolves–that’s all kid stuff. The only thing we should be afraid of is the IRS.”

I go through the company database on the wereweb, to see who has coders and then I can go from there. The wereweb is kind of like the darkweb, you need to know how to get there, but once there it’s the same as the normal internet, just meant for the wolf/Lycan community. There's the vampweb, faeweb, superweb etc. As cool as superweb sounds it is literally just where all species can converge and interact together. The only interesting places to go there are the chats though, lots of drama, don’t need a telenovela when you have access to that site! The biggest difference is the fact that, as far as I am aware, there is very little in the way of iniquitous intentions on there.

I’m simply curious whether this is legitimate or a scam...” My mind and emotions were fighting whether to open the link because it may contain a virus, but my curiosity won me over my trepidation. When I clicked on the link, I was sent to a website that stated ‘WELCOME TO LIVE SUICIDE’ and featured a blood-dripping effect on the screen, as well as skulls and skeletons in the background.
