I could feel my eyes burning and fell to the ground feeling pain in my back like it was growing in size. I noticed there was a puddle of water just below me and its reflection revealed the red colour around my pupils. I started to breathe heavily as the pain was unbearable. I could now hear the wolf inside me groan and growl as it was releasing itself. Both my wolf and I screamed and growled at the same time and I automatically scratched off the skin on my body revealing my wolf's full white skin. Mei stared at my wolf with her eyes and mouth wide open. "You are a pure breed Alpha. Impossible.. how can this be?"

I couldn’t help but smile at the fascination that sparked in his eyes. “What on bloody earth is that?” he asked. “A magic mirror,” I teased before explaining to him the best way I could what exactly a television set was. I asked if he wanted to watch a movie, recalling the extensive DVD collection we’d found earlier that night. I asked him to pick a movie and he returned with two interesting picks: Chicago and the Godfather. It was almost a reflection of the kind of person that he was – a musician and a killer whose loyalty to family stood above all else – either way, tormented, with darkness constantly looming over him.

I had hope that it wouldn't just happen now. But like every other year, at this point I would wish that my name wasn't my name. I would wish that I wasn't Allison Bush, the last air of the Bush who actually is the only one that turns into a full wolf on a full moon. I was trying to run from that and some other things.. But then again, you can't run away from yourself!!

He said, "I thought you were on her side all this while. But please, you are not doing us any kindness here. Do you think you are doing the right thing? I can tell you are doing the wrong thing. Let's beg her and see what she does." "Beg my ass" he scoffed out a mirthless chuckle and pointed the gun towards Andre "You will not tell me what to do with her. Do you understand me!" Andre said, "Calm down. That will do, Norris. There is no need for that." My lips trembled at the drama. They wouldn't dare to fight me or my wolf, because we both were just deadly. I could single-handedly take on a whole Pack and beat them to a pulp.

“But it’s work.” “You’ll be back soon?” “No. I’m leavin’ town. Take care now.” Without another word, Wolf spun and left the room. He had the courtesy to shut the door so she could struggle back in to her minute panties and tiny skirt with some privacy, but his mind was already up in Fort Collins, at the Warriors MC clubhouse. He needed to have a face-to-face with their Prez and now… no waiting on this one. He cursed again, pulled out his cell, pushed the button for Scars’ phone. He waited impatiently, and the second he heard his VP’s voice, he launched right in.

He yelled and stumbled backward as the wolf came for him again. This time, the brief moment of humanity he'd seen in those glowing eyes were gone. The rabid wolf who was once Scott was advancing now, slowly, deadly, and there was pure rage in those eyes. Mike knew what he had to do, knew there was no other way to save his best friend—no antidote in this world could change the effects of Dr Makovsky's serum. There was no coming back for this wolf. He had to kill Scott to save him. With one great yell, he grabbed the wolf's neck as it came for him and twisted once. It snapped violently to the side with a sickening crunch, and the rabid wolf fell to the ground.

He paused, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of understanding. “I couldn't help but laugh, I guess either I'm hearing things or I'm not the only crazy one in the room.” Zayn stepped closer, his movements deliberate and careful, as if I might bolt at any moment. “You’re a wolf,” he said, his voice steady. “You always have been. You just didn’t know it yet.” I burst out in laughter once again, sharp and bitter, verging on hysteria. “You’re insane. This is insane.”

Good thing Nathan reminded me of the best thing that happened. "Nathan, there's a hungry and furious wolf behind you," I muttered back. "And I believe her stares were the kind of stares that were telling us to go away." Nathan deliberately turned around to face the female wolf. "We're not here to hurt anyone. My name is Prince Nathan of the Crescent Moon Pack. We need help." "If you two were looking for someone named Scott Mccall, my answer remains the same." The female wolf jumped onto us but before her foot could reach our spot, Roger pinned her down by force.

"Our names have completely alienated Master Scott now. Do your brains think his mafia friends will retaliate against us? He does not strike my mind as a kind master at all. He looks like a dangerous wolf who nurses deadly grudges." My soft laughter surprises my friend, breaking the heavy tension in the air. "Do not fret about that fake old wolf, Hailee. His grand moment in the golden spotlight is fleeting. By tomorrow morning, his name will be completely ostracized from the alliance, leaving him totally powerless to harm either of our wolves." Deep confusion flickers across Hailee’s face, a dozen questions forming on his lips, but sudden movements near the wooden doorway catch his attention

I stood before the mirror, trembling. “Come out!” I screamed. My voice cracked. “Come out, damn you!” But there was no answer. “You're supposed to be my wolf companion! My protector! How could you, how could you kill him?” My breath came in ragged sobs. “You monster… You coward! Show yourself!” My wolf didn’t speak. It was like she’d buried herself deep inside me, ashamed, or worse… indifferent. I collapsed to the floor, broken and breathless, tears searing down my cheeks. I curled into myself, praying that this was all a nightmare, that I’d wake up and find my father humming in the kitchen, that the arena had never happened, that my wolf had never emerged.
