“Grab him!” I yell, and Raymond’s light snares the scout’s leg, tripping him. I’m on him in a second, knee in his back, shadows pinning his arms. “Talk,” I growl, pressing harder. “Why’s the guild after us?” The scout’s young, barely older than Raymond, and he’s shaking, eyes wide with dread. “Guild will kill you both,” he spits, but his voice cracks. “You’re dead already.”
