Novel & Cerita Scouts Regiment

I envied that about him. He handed me the file. "Scouts returned this morning. You'll want to see." I flipped it open, scanning the reports. Kills along the northern ridge. Deer. Wolves. Too many. And then—the sketches. Markings burned into tree trunks, not random claw marks but symbols. Repeated. Deliberate. "They're branding our land now?" My voice came out colder than I meant. Nicole's expression didn't change. "They're organised. The rogues aren't moving like strays anymore. Our scouts swear they kept formation. Almost like... soldiers."

I hurry and get dressed in some leggings and a tank, because it's Saturday and I want to work out after breakfast. I walk into the kitchen and grab a cup of coffee before sitting with mom, dad and Nico at the table. I start filling my plate with biscuits and sausage gravy with a couple slices of bacon. I said, "So, dad, Nyla said you have some news about the rogue pack." Dad said, "The scouts finally found them. But we can't touch them." I said, "Why?" He said, "They have gone to the council to become a legitimate pack. They aren't on our territory either. We have no legal reason to go after them." I said, "That sucks. But, I guess, if they are trying to become a legitimate pack, that could

the Captain says, sneering at them like he’s told them a million times to cut it out. I wave him off, “Their group name doesn’t matter. What I want to know is, do they meet the criteria I gave you?” “Yes, sir. These nine are my best scouts. I believe they will serve you well.” “Listen up, men. Each of you will be sent to a pack in the North to scout and gather information,” I tell them, and they look up. “There are rumors and rumblings that several of the Northern Packs are whispering of rebellion. I cannot check every pack, but you eight will become an advance recon team. For the next two weeks, I want you to watch the Alphas. If you hear of or see any of them acting suspiciously, report it

Brandon asks, his eyes bouncing between me and Mason. “Yes,” I snap. “Which roster?” Mason asks. Brandon stops in front of my desk and hands each of us a stack of papers, “The list of the four scouts who will be going into the rogue king’s territory.” “Just four?” I ask, looking down at the paper. “I couldn’t get any more men to volunteer,” he answers. “Even with the promise of a higher ranking and better pay, these were the only volunteers.” “Fuck. I was hoping for a group of at least six,” Mason curses.

Scouts came and went in a steady trickle, boots caked with ice and mud, faces wind‑burned. “The royals have pulled back,” one Ashridge scout reported at midday, breath pluming. “Their main camp’s two valleys south now. They’re digging in, not advancing.” “Rogues?” Jace asked. “Scattered,” the scout said. “The ones still under their thumb are licking wounds. The rest…gone to ground or run.” Kael stood at the edge of the map table, arms folded, eyes on the markers that had been shifted to reflect this new reality.

I said, and he bowed his head. "Unlike in the past, an entire family is not allowed to volunteer anymore; just a few members are allowed, so the scouts will have ties to Pictoria, and the need to return will be important. When two to three members of a family sign up as scouts, their families left on Pictoria will receive food and the King's protection as payment. If a scout returns with feedback, they will receive a ranking, and their families will be honoured," he said, and I looked at him suspiciously. "Who did you two leave behind?" I asked them.

It was not as populated as it used to be, but it was still made up of a significant amount of knight guards and soldiers who could put up a good fight in a battle. “Okay we are here, the scouting regiment unit will advance on my orders. We will follow Albert's lead.” Robert said, addressing the multitude. Reene turned to Albert and asked, “How long will it take for the regiment to reach the village?” “Roughly thirty minutes.” He answered back.

The Protectorate heaved a sigh and walked inside as well. His thoughts went pondering about the conflict and how long will they have to be here before the entire fleet moved on to the next planet. For sure, the King has no authority over their departure, otherwise, the Regiment would be very pissed. Not only the King failed to act with initiative, he would also test the wrath of those who only came to protect them. Keron wondered if the Supreme-General has a fault in this. He remembered the Protectorates in other Regiments, most particularly, the Enochian Guards Regiment, who were never known to bow before mortals. He heard from the Solar ADFs how harsh they are and how willing they were to

’ I ask. ‘While you were focused on the south, Remington, we sent scouts to Alpha David’s. Once we know what we’re dealing with, we’ll regroup and decide on a plan of action,’ Hunter says. I search the area, looking for the scouts. “They sent out scouts from four packs. Do you have them?” I ask the Watch Tower Guards. “I’ve got scouts from Alpha Hunter’s pack,” one says. “I’m got scouts from Alpha Amelia’s and Alpha Lucas’s packs,” another says.

He stopped behind Phyna’s section and spoke without raising his voice. “Eyes out. Scouts went missing before dawn on the east track. We do not know if they are late or gone. If the line moves, you hold this section until you are told otherwise. No one chases. No one breaks formation for a single target. Clear?” “Clear,” Phyna answered. Soren looked at her for a moment longer, then moved on. The weight of his attention stayed behind like a mark. The morning stretched. Watch rotations changed. Rations came in silence. Phyna checked every person in her section the same way she had checked forms in the Academy yard. Blades. Straps. Feet. Focus. When Lira’s hands shook once on the rail, Phyna spo
