Scouts Regiment Novels & Stories

"Oh, see. I knew you'd get it! It really is an honor to be out here." Pulte turned to the other side and completely ignored him afterwards. "Everyone shut up. We're here." The captain quickly had everyone ready and geared up. They arrive at the area they are meant to scout on. "We'll split into three groups of five and scout the area. Check your gears and get ready in three minutes." The scout unit got off their carrier and started their mission. It was Pulte's second mission outside the fortress city after coming back to the force. "Don't let your guard down newbies, we're in a C level area. This place is new to us so we don't know yet what type of monsters and how strong they are."

I slung this over my shoulder before selecting a hatchet and skinning knife from the dwindling weapon stores. Thus armed, I wove towards the mustering raiders where flinty Ezra held congress. My assigned squad comprised mainly scouts and hunters, those most familiar skirting our territory. I recognized Kyra hefting throwing claws alongside Agnes, Gwen already shrugging into a bristling quiver with practiced ease. Young Timothy hovered at the fringe, white knuckled on his wicked pole blade, plainly struggling not to quail beneath these battle hardened gazes. I crossed to stand before him, gentling my tone with some effort. “Courage, dear. Together we shall teach those Rogue filth that Freeway

— a rank of werewolves who are assigned to search for missing people. Aside from searching for missing people, a scout’s job also includes gathering information or intel inside and outside the Pack to gain knowledge and formulate a strategic plan based on the information gathered. In the human world, they are somewhat equivalent to spies or the CIA. Only the Nightshade Pack has such a rank in their Pack. That rank was only invented as a solution to have a specific team of experts whose main goal is to search for their missing Luna or Sebastian’s sister. The scouts of Nightshade Pack are highly trained, and they are experts when it comes to searching for information and even people. With the

She peeked her head up to look at them through the door window, confirming they were the two from earlier. One was a Scout breed, bred by the Aliane to track anything no mater how old the sent was. Once they picked up on the trail the only ways to get them off it was either to start a fire around the area or to shoot them. The other was a Hunter breed. Hunter breeds are stronger than the Scout breed, so they were often paired up. The Scout would track the target while the Hunter would chase it down. The third breed type is Soldier; a K9 bred to be large and strong, used almost exclusivly during raids and battles.

“Thank you. Join the ranks. My commanders will assign you to regiments.” The old wolf looked like he wanted to cry with relief. “Troy,” Quinn said in my head. “Ida tells me they’re coming up from the right side. She can see Fionn and the princes.” “Thanks.” “And there are more circling around to come up from the lake.” My stomach twisted into excited knots. Much as I despised the war, I was like every other wolf, and I enjoyed a good battle. My scouts returned with similar information, but informed me that there was also a sizable regiment coming up from behind. “How many?” I asked.

They are also the smallest regiment with only a hundred soldiers, but the most skilled. As Aiden approached the battle regiment's formation, followed by Nicholas, the soldiers parted to clear the way for him and his warriors. Aiden came to a halt directly in front of his soldiers, Nicholas a step behind beside him, and 15 Royal warriors in line behind them. In front of them stood their adversaries, those lifeless, dull creatures who had stood in front of them the day before. The battle regiment had already been trained to slaughter them and was awaiting Aiden's command.

It sounded like a lot of extra work. “What made you want to switch? You have a high standing as a warrior already, aren’t you technically starting over in rank with the Scouts?” I asked curiously. Ethan nodded but shrugged good-naturedly. “Technically yeah but I want the challenge, not to mention being a Scout is a little more exclusive in pack ranks. Sometimes other packs ask for Scouts to aid them as not all packs have Scouts anymore.” I nodded in understanding as I could see the appeal of it. My former pack, Ravenfield, was renowned for our elite squad of Scouts. Unfortunately, the small squad of 14 was out aiding another pack, a month's travel in wolf form away from home. Orso timed his

“Scouts at the east ridge saw movement. Armored wolves, not ours. Banners of the Blackridge pack. Jax’s sigil.” Ronan’s jaw tightens. My inside answers with a dull, answering beat—war drums outside, heartbeats inside, both picking up tempo. “Numbers?” he asks. “Two dozen in full view,” the scout says. “More in the trees, we think. They’re not hiding. They’re… parading.” Cassian swears under his breath. Leo’s hands curl on the edge of the big table, knuckles pale. “Rogues with them?” Ronan asks.

the scout said. “Report,” I said. “We had assumed that the army belonged to the Crimson Claw, but a few of us ventured closer. We learned that this is not an official branch of that pack’s military at all,” the scout said. The councilmembers exchanged worried glances. “How can you be sure?” I asked. “Because the group was packless, Alpha. They were rogues. A huge group of them running rampant all along the border. They’ve been hitting towns in both packs as they have traveled. We weren’t sure of their motives at first, but then we found this…”

All of the sudden, these humanitarian story from the Wasteland become famous, is a matter of a few hours. “Master, is it true that our Scouts now have an additional objectives?…what is is again….hmmm.. ah search and rescue…is that true?..”. (Colonel Yvone) “Hmm?…well, it was still under my consideration at the moment…I haven’t made it official yet….how did you heard about these?..”.
