This is the best thing that ever happened to me.” Like a classic bookworm, Edith climbed the rolling ladders and explored the bookshelves fondly, his excitement was out of my mind. “What’s so special about those books?” My pack had brilliant libraries, full of war-related books. She had to start running again, this time around, she’s excited of where the scroll would take her. Unknowingly, it led straight into Alvah’s doors. She continues to follow it and ends up in one of the library’s wings. And landed on the book that lit that one night while she was asked to read all the books that Alvah asked her to read. The room purred. The next room was clearly for literature. Bookshelves lined the walls—well, what was left of them. Some had collapsed completely. Most of the books were moldy or dust. I summoned a scroll of pure raw magic, unfurled it across the nearest shelf, and pressed my palm flat. Golden light streamed from my skin and sank into the wood. Preservation, restoration, clarity. I opened it and found myself entering a smaller version of the library downstairs.
