She began to think back to when she used to live alone. Before meeting Brayden on the elevator that fateful day, she rolled her eyes at the thought of that day. However, prior to Brayden she used to come to Gino’s quite often. She missed it. Even still, She missed Brayden more than her life without him. She had always thought of the Death Contract as some sort of a curse but now that she was done with it she wished she wasn’t. Meredith sighed and took a swig of a local IPA and finished up her meal before she headed home for the night.

I gasped, still curled up in a fetal position. The smoke formed a man who was wearing a black leather hoodie, t-shirt and pants. I couldn't see his face because of his hoodie.
