Shadows And Sirens

The girl carefully takes my hand and shakes it. "S-so... you love a police officer?" "Nice isn't it? How amazing is it for illegal shadows and emergency sirens to mix together?"

Blood of The Shattered Moon

Blood of The Shattered Moon

The shore is littered with the wrecks of ships that attempted the crossing, their hulls reduced to skeletal frameworks by the unmaking magic. Standing at the water's edge, I can feel the power radiating from the depths. It's overwhelming, ancient, and utterly indifferent to mortal life. "It's beautiful," I breathe. "It's terrifying," Kael counters. "Can't it be both?" He takes my hand, and together we approach the shore. The moment the water touches my feet, I feel it—the pull of the deep, calling to something in my blood. The dreamweaving responds, recognizing kindred magic. We launch the shadow-ship, and it settles onto the water without a ripple, as if it belongs there. We climb aboard, a

I demanded " And, don't you dare take my shape or you will pay for that." "Like I said you can't do anything to me or my kind. We are shadows. We are like air. Anyone or any power can pass through us and the only person who can hurt us is our mistress or the person who belongs from our shadow family." the shadow informs. "And, who is your mistress?"I asked. "Her," the shadow pointed at Minerva and got down down on his knee in front of her " She is our Queen. The Mistress to the Shadows."

The English Coast,1794 Mathilda sat on the beach, as Tobias, Mary and Magnus disappeared from her view. She breathed a sigh of relief that the abominable visit was finally over and done with and stretched her arms heavenwards as clouds slowly drifted across the full moon. It was impossible not to be enraged, not after having had to endure the murderer’s presence in her home. How could her husband and daughter not see the evil within him? If she did not know any better, she would have sworn that Magnus himself had charmed them with the old ways, the very thing he was so forcefully trying to eradicate.

Restricted Archives. The sign should have been enough to stop me.It wasn’t.I descended. The temperature dropped with every step, until the air itself felt sealed away from the rest of the world. At the bottom, a single table sat beneath a flickering torch, covered in books that looked older than anything I had ever seen. One title stood out. The Fall of the Shadow Queens. My breath slowed as I opened it.The pages were fragile, the ink faded but still legible.Illustrations showed figures surrounded by living darkness, not casting shadows but commanding them as extensions of themselves.

Book 2: Crown of Shadows Chapter 1: The Departure The carriage door closed with finality that echoed through her chest like a death knell. Shadows of the Omega

Shadows of the Omega

The crowd growled their approval, a guttural sound of acknowledgment, of acceptance, of witnessing two wolves proving that leadership was not given—it was forged. Leadership required more than blood. It required survival. And so, the Trial of Shadows commenced. Darius and Selene were blindfolded, taken to the outskirts of the Ashen lands, left with nothing but their instincts and the silent presence of hidden warriors prepared to test them. They had until dawn to find their way back, but the path was riddled with traps— Wolves waiting in silence, ready to challenge them, forcing them into combat to prove dominance. Tests of endurance, requiring them to move without sight, relying only on sen

In the Shadow of Lies

In the Shadow of Lies

Without looking back, I vanished into the snow. Andrew stood in the snow, staring in the direction I had gone. His hoarse voice drifted through the wind. "You won't abandon me, Eleanor." A month later, at a bar in Glaciercrest Pack, I sat by the window, sipping coffee as I admired the snowy landscape outside. The murmurs of travelers around me reached my ears. "Did you hear? Darkmoon Pack’s strongest warrior confessed to murdering his ex-father-in-law and was sentenced today." My fingers froze around my coffee cup.

“For the record, George, we have no idea where I came from, so it’s rather hasty to conclude such a thing.” Her pea-green eyes bored at the sun, its rays illuminating the raging waves of the sea. She could almost taste the salty wind, could hardly ignore the silent calls of its depth, urging her to come forward. The various noise caused by different tourists was the only thing keeping her on the bay. Their laughter, their yells, their smiles, made her want to run away. “Oh come on, Z! Not that argument again. How many times should I tell you? You are not a human, okay? You’re a Shadow Wielder. You’ve been born here. That’s irrevocable!”

Probably the most challenging story I have written. With about 5 drafts and two years of crafting, it’s my longest work. It’s thrilling. I revisit it sometimes and, he, even I get overwhelmed and awed. I mean, it feels like I’m not the one who wrote it.

I love the world building of this novel! Even when you’re only in chapter one you can already see how the author meticulously planned the settings of the story. It’s descriptive so even if the world is new and unfamiliar the readers could still easily imagine what it’s like.
